Garsen Putter Grips Captures 58th Tour Win

Leading wire to wire, the Utah native fired a final round 1-under 69 to claim a 4 shot victory at the PGA Tour Houston Open while using a Garsen Ultimate putter grip. The champion has now claimed 5 PGA Tour wins all using a Garsen grip. Adding to the recent LPGA BMW Ladies Championship victory, this now totals 58 tour wins for Garsen.

The larger size, half-rounded, half hexagon design of the Garsen Ultimate gives the player multiple flat surfaces on the front of the grip and a rounded bottom to allow the fingers to cradle the bottom. The softer, textured feel of this grip also caters to many players who like larger, non-tapered grips.

Gripping the Ultimate allows for a lot of versatility. It is about an inch longer than most standard putting grips fitting non-traditional grip styles such as claw, saw, and left-hand low with great ease.

Players who are used to playing oversize or midsize foam structured grips respond very positively to the higher quality, higher density, and specific texture of the uniform patterning. The Ultimate will feel like an upgrade to any foam structured grip on the market.

Garsen Golf Founder and CEO Bernerd Garsen on the major victory. “It’s an honor to see a player of this caliber get his 5th victory at the Houston Open using the Ultimate, one, in the line of Garsen Putter Grips, which he’s chosen for the better part of his professional career. His other wins using Garsen include The Northern Trust, The 3M Open, The Rocket Mortgage Classic (Ultimate grip) and The Puerto Rico Open (Max 15″). It’s an incredibly rewarding experience”.
