Last night thanks to Foresight Sports, college golf history was made in Grand Haven, MI, where 27 schools competed in the first-ever collegiate simulator tournament.
The Foresight Sports College Royale was hosted alongside the Folds of Honor Collegiate at American Dunes where the event was housed in a 130-foot tournament tent filled with fans as the nation’s top golfers went head-to-head in a closest-to-the-pin challenge powered by Foresight’s simulator technology.
Drum roll, please…And the winners are:
Team Champions
Women’s: University of Arizona – average distance of 8’11.5”
Men’s: University of Cincinnati – clinched title with a dramatic finish at 9’4.4”
Individual Champions
Men’s: Chris Bagnall (Notre Dame) – posted a distance of 4’1.2
Women’s: Hayley Dye (Findlay) – posted a distance of 6’5.4
Highlight of the night? An ACE!! Michigan State’s Lucas Acevedo delivered a hole-in-one in prelims, igniting the crowd and making this event even more memorable.
The Bryan Bros were also on hand as ambassadors and content creators as they faced off against the top three male and female finalists.
Each champion secured Foresight Sports QuadMAX launch monitors for their programs (8 TOTAL!) giving these schools access to the same technology trusted by the world’s best golfers.
