Odyssey Announces New 2026 S2S Tri-Hot SB Putters

Odyssey launched their S2S Tri-Hot putters last year and these zero torque putters were unique in moving CG forward and eliminating forward shaft lean.  Pushing the CG forward created a perfectly square setup more naturally, and the shaft entering directly into the top-line (rather than farther back) brought more players into the zero torque putter category by removing awkward appearance.

Right from initial release S2S Tri-Hot was well received by consumers and on Tour.  And now with the announcement of the new 2026 S2S Tri-Hot SB Odyssey has extended the line to include even more golfers into this category of zero torque putters.

Zero Torque the Odyssey Way

When Odyssey got into the zero torque market they wanted to address and eliminate weaknesses in this category of putters and build on it with their own strengths.  And the first thing was putter shape.  So they introduced zero torque in their popular Jailbird and #7 models to deliver more standard looking shapes that were Tour proven.  And with Odyssey Ai-ONE Square 2 Square the shaft was near the CG.

Odyssey expanded their zero torque family of putters with the S2S Tri-Hot by addressing players opinions about not liking shaft lean, onset, or needing a special grip to use zero torque putters.  S2S Tri-Hot got rid of that shaft lean and most of the onset by moving CG even more forward using 120 to 140 grams of tungsten in the face.  And so with the S2S Tri-Hot you have the shaft right on the top-line, you don't have any special grip, and you don't need any forward press or shaft lean to use it.

Expanding Zero Torque even Further with Heel Shafting

It’s With S2S Tri-Hot SB you have a single bend shaft that remains on the same center shafted axis but now goes in through the heel using that bend at the end.  And this also allows Odyssey to use more traditional alignment lines in a zero torque putter.

S2S Tri Hot SB comes in Jailbird, #7 and #7 Cruiser, and Rossie styles and with all models you can see how they look more like traditional putter or putters we've used for a long time, but still have that zero torque profile.  Ultimately with S2S Tri-Hot SB you're getting a putter than looks like a traditional putter but once you start to swing it and make your stroke you can feel the difference in torque profile.

Same Tri-Hot Unique Construction

The Odyssey S2S Tri-Hot SB is identical to the S2S Tri-Hot with aluminum in the back in the big red piece, tungsten in the front, and the Ai-DUAL insert with two layers in the face.

The only difference between S2S Tr-Hot SB and S2S Tri-Hot is the spud (where the shaft connects directly to the putter head).

Ai-Dual Insert Refresher

The Odyssey Ai-DUAL insert incorporates a firmer urethane on the back and a softer urethane on the cover with grooves that promote more top spin as well as speed consistency across the face.

Using an RPM groove with a 19-degree slope from the vertical creates more top spin and more spin consistency all across the face.

Conclusion

Odyssey continues to lead the charge in putter innovation with their most advanced insert ever offering speed consistency and increased forward roll across the entire face.

And now with the new S2S Tri-Hot SB you don't have to have a zero torque putter that's center shafted or with a hosel you've never seen before.  S2S Tri-Hot SB is zero torque the way you want it.
