COBRA Golf, a leader in golf club innovation and 3D printing technology, today announced the introduction of the new COBRA 3D Printed TOUR Irons. The new model is based on the COBRA LIMIT3D, the first commercially available, fully 3D printed iron in golf.
The new COBRA 3D PRINTED TOUR irons utilize 3D printing technology to unlock a new level of performance that delivers the forgiveness that aspirational players need with the sleek look and soft feel of a players blade. Each iron is fully 3D printed from 316 stainless steel using a DMLS (Direct Metal Laser Sintering) process, a metal 3D printing technology used to build metal parts with exceptional mechanical properties and precision. This manufacturing method can produce complex designs that cannot be achieved using traditional casting or forging methods. With the original LIMIT3D irons, and now the KING 3D Printed TOUR, COBRA sought to deliver an iron that is unlike anything else on the market: a players blade that can be enjoyed by a wide range of golfers – from Tour players to mid and higher handicaps alike.
