Topgolf Names Erin Chamberlin as Chief Operating Officer

Modern golf entertainment leader Topgolf has announced that Erin Chamberlin has been named its new Chief Operating Officer beginning July 22. Chamberlin joins the company from PENN Entertainment Inc., the largest provider of gaming entertainment in North America, where she served as a Senior Vice President of Regional Operations since 2019.

In her new role, Chamberlin will be responsible for Topgolf’s globally owned and operated venue experience, including the Player experience, operational excellence, Topgolf technology, food and beverage innovation, supply chain and culinary operations. She will be a part of the Executive Leadership Team reporting to Topgolf CEO Artie Starrs.

Oakland Hills Next 100 Project to Backdrop 76th U.S. Junior Amateur

The field of 264 players competing in the 76th U.S. Junior Amateur will tee off Monday surrounded by steel beams of Oakland Hills Country Club's future clubhouse.

The Club’s "Next 100 Project" has briefly paused to host the USGA championship, featuring the world’s best players under 19. The project includes the development of a new world-class clubhouse for members and guests.

USGA Announces Tee Times for 76th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship from Oakland Hills Country Club

The United States Golf Association (USGA) has announced tee times for the first two rounds of the 76th U.S. Junior Amateur Championship, Monday (July 22) and Tuesday (July 23), at 7,303-yard, par-70 Oakland Hills Country Club’s South Course and at 6,808-yard, par-70 Oakland Hills Country Club’s North Course, in Bloomfield Hills, Mich.

The U.S. Junior Amateur consists of 36 holes of stroke play on July 22 and 23, after which the 264-player field will be reduced to the low 64 scorers. There will be six rounds of match play, starting July 24. The quarterfinals and semifinals are slated for Friday, July 26. The championship is scheduled to conclude with a 36-hole final on Saturday, July 27, starting at 8 a.m. EDT. The U.S. Junior Amateur champion receives a full exemption into the 2025 U.S. Open Championship.

Ernie Els Captures First Senior Major Championship at Kaulig Companies Championship

Ernie Els’ historic career adds another chapter, as the South African emerged victorious at the Kaulig Companies Championship for his first major victory on the PGA TOUR Champions.

Playing some of his best golf at age 54, the XXIO Global Ambassador showed no signs of slowing down this week. After shooting even par in the opening round, Els made his big move on Saturday with a 64 to catapult him up the leaderboard. From there, he did just enough on Sunday with a 68 to finish the tournament at 10-under and edge his opponents by one. Els secured his third win of the season and sixth overall on the tour. He is the first PGA TOUR Champions player to reach three victories this season.

NBC Sports Presents 152nd OPEN Championship at Royal Troon Across NBC Peacock and USA Network

NBC Sports surrounds the 152nd Open Championship at Royal Troon Golf Club in Troon, Scotland, with comprehensive live coverage July 18-21 across NBC, Peacock and USA Network.

In total, NBC Sports will present nearly 50 hours of live championship coverage Thursday-Sunday – and more than 200 hours of live coverage from Royal Troon including featured groups, featured hole and Golf Central Live from The Open studio coverage.

OPEN Championship to Air Live on SiriusXM

SiriusXM will offer listeners nationwide a live broadcast of The 152nd Open when golf’s original championship is played July 18-21 at Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland.

SiriusXM will air 45 hours of live on-course coverage across all four rounds of play on SiriusXM’s The Open Radio channel, which is available to listeners in their cars on channel 92 and on the SiriusXM app. Championship broadcasts will begin on SiriusXM on Thursday and Friday at 2 am ET, and on Saturday and Sunday at 4 am ET, and will continue through the conclusion of each day’s play.
