The American Century Championship, the premier celebrity golf tournament held annually in Lake Tahoe, California, and Go RVing, the consumer-facing voice of the RV industry, are teaming up to offer a $200,000 luxury RV to any celebrity who makes a hole-in-one on the fifth hole during this year’s tournament. The partnership aims to inspire new RVers and highlight the freedom, affordability, and adventure that lies just beyond your door—whether it’s on the open road or the fairway.
The 36th edition of the tournament takes place July 9–13, with tournament play beginning July 11, at Edgewood Tahoe Golf Course featuring some 90 celebrities competing for prize money and raising funds for charity. The tournament will be televised on NBC, Peacock and GOLF Channel.
“This isn’t just about winning an incredible vehicle; it’s about unlocking a world of adventure. Imagine hitting an ace and then hitting the road in that RV to explore new horizons, from national parks to incredible golf courses across the country. Whether you’re chasing a tee time or discovering a quiet course just beyond your door, this RV has you covered,” said Karen Redfern, Chief Marketing Officer for Go RVing. “Partnering with the American Century Championship is a powerful way to connect with new audiences and show that RVing is an exciting, accessible way to experience the game—and the getaway.”
Go RVing’s hole-in-one challenge will unfold on the 140-yard fifth hole—one of the course’s most scenic spots on the layout, ranked among “America’s Top 100 Golf Courses” by Golf Digest. A luxury Forest River Dynamax Isata 3 Class C motorhome will be on display at the hole throughout the week. Last year, Pro Football Hall of Famer Tim Brown aced the 12th hole to win a $200,000 speedboat, proving that anything can happen at this star-studded event.
Well-known participants for 2025’s tournament include Charles Barkley, Aaron Rodgers, Stephen Curry, Josh Allen and Travis and Jason Kelce, as well as Hollywood stars Miles Teller, Nate Bargatze and Colin Jost.
