There's a lot of limited edition gear released during API week honoring Palmer, and rightly so. However, PUMA's tribute might be one of the best ever. And although I wasn't planning a giveaway, when I woke up today for some reason the thought, "What would Arnie do?" was in my head. And I decided to give away one of those sweet limited edition pink PUMA P caps that honor Palmer and you've seen Rickie Fowler wearing this week.
First, leave a comment in section below here on my blog and just share anything you like about Mr. Palmer. It can be why you love him, why you're a fan, or even just a favorite memory. Your comment will count as one entry, and it makes it fun for everyone to read about why we all have our own unique affections for Arnie.
On twitter be sure you're following me and Puma Golf, retweet my giveaway tweet, and that counts as another entry. If you want to leave a comment as well that would be awesome, but not necessary.
And finally a third way to win is on Instagram. Be sure you're following me and Puma Golf, like my giveaway post, and then tag three friends.
The pink P cap is truly amazing. Pink was one of Arnie's favorite colors. The signature Palmer Bay Hill umbrellas are on the cap inside and out, and there's even an Arnie signature on the bottom inside of the bill. And trust me, if you win you're going to have a tough choice deciding if you want to wear it or keep it on display as a one of a kind souvenir.
Wow, great looking hat Pete! Mr. Palmer was always grateful to every fan that he came across. Always like the stories people would tell about how he would look them in the eye and sign an autograph. He was very appreciate of the fans and great role model to all golfers that followed him.
ReplyDeleteMr Palmer reminds me so much like my dad. My dad has the exact same golf swing as Mr Palmer. And I will be golfing with my dad this coming week.
ReplyDeleteAs a teenager , I got to visit a relative in California whose parents took me to the Los Angeles Open at Rancho Park Golf Course. This is the first time I met Arnold Palmer. It was in January 1969. He signed my program, and I still have it today...memories:)
ReplyDeleteArnold Palmer's sense of humanity set him apart from others. His passion for the game was legendary. Thanks Pete. It's an honor to share his birthday with him.
ReplyDeleteThese hats are a great tribute to Mr. Palmer and thank you for sharing one with your fans Pete. My dad was a huge fan of Mr. Palmer which promoted me to like and follow him as well. Watching him play in tournaments on TV and the massive "Army" that was always following him and cheering him on was something to truly behold.
ReplyDeleteLove the hats, but moreso what Arnold stood for! That video of his driver off the deck could be played on repeat 24/7!

ReplyDeletePalmer was a class act and a hell of a golfer, he is a true role model. If I can be half the man he was I’ll be in good shape.
ReplyDeleteMet Mr. Palmer when I was a young kid at a senior PGA tournament and got his autograph. Even though I was just a kid, I knew he was a legendary golfer...now that I am much older I know he was a legendary man as well.
ReplyDeleteA lover of Ketel One and inventor or the Arnold Palmer beverage...amongst the many things to love about Arnie. Long live his Army!
