Mitsubishi Golf Shafts Continue Worldwide Dominance with Wins at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters and Arnold Palmer Invitational

Mitsubishi Golf shafts picked up two huge wins yesterday with victories at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters the Arnold Palmer Invitational.  Justin Harding won the Qatar Masters using a Mitsubishi Diamana W-Series 60x shaft in his driver, while Francesco Molinari won the Arnold Palmer Invitational using a  Mitsubishi Tensei CK Blue 70 shaft in his driver. 

 

Harding averaged 300 yards off the tee and ranked 16th in driving accuracy.  While Molinari averaged 295 yards off the tee and hit an incredible 86-percent of the fairways. 

Mitsubishi also won the overall Driver Shaft Count at the Qatar Masters with more than double the next closest competitor, and remains the most used shaft brand on the European Tour.  Mitsubishi and Aldila had a combined 73 driver shafts in play, which accounted for more than 51-percent of the field. 

 

At the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Mitsubishi also won the overall Driver Shaft Count, and their shafts were used by some big name players who put up some big time numbers with the driver. 

Tommy Fleetwood finished T-3 using a Mitsubishi Kuro Kage Dual Tini 70 in his driver, and averaged 312 yards off the tee while hitting 71-percent of the fairways.  Rory McIlroy finished T-6 using a Mitsubishi Tensei CK 70 in his driver, and averaged 320 yards off the tee while hitting 79-percent of the fairways.  

 
 

Matt Wallace  also finished T-6 and averaged more than 302 yards off the tee with the new Aldila Rogue Silver 130 shaft
