Aerotech Golf TiFiber Shafts Win on Korn Ferry Tour and Delivery Path to PGA Tour

Aerotech Golf TiFiber composite shafts drove Zac Blair to victory at the Ellie Mae Classic on the Korn Ferry Tour, earning Blair his PGA Tour card for next season.

Blair played the ultra-premium TiFiber shaft in his Ping driver, as the former Brigham Young University golfer captured his first professional victory and earned his way back onto the Tour.

In addition to Blair's victory, 20-year-old South Korean and 2018 LPGA Rookie of the Year Jin Young Ko finished strong at AIG Women’s British Open with a solo third-place finish playing SteelFiber H-Tour 90 graphite shafts in her irons and J-Series shafts in her hybrids.  SteelFiber shafts also placed T9, with three T11 finishes  a T9 and three T11 finishes at the event.

Aerotech President Chris Hilleary said,
"We congratulate the winner on his victory, and we're very excited to see TiFiber composite driver shafts help lift a deserving player back onto the PGA Tour.  TiFiber wood shafts are designed for players to attain the highest level of performance and optimize launch angles and spin rates for increased distance and pinpoint accuracy.  The only shafts of their kind in golf today, TiFiber shafts feature a full surface layer of micro-thin titanium fiber which delivers superior strength, unprecedented stability and light weight."
Aerotech Golf are perhaps best known for its SteelFiber shafts which provide superior performance through revolutionary composite engineering.  SteelFiber shafts combine a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface.  The shaft's graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.
