Players wrapped up their practice rounds and interviews today. The USGA held a press conference with key speakers sharing their excitement about the course conditions and layout, as well as the state of golf overall and future national championship venues moving forward.

Everything's set for the 121st U.S. Open and the overwhelming sentiment going in is players will need to avoid the rough this week to contend.
