Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele picked up their first wins of the season at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. And Mitsubishi Golf pulled double duty helping the Ryder Cup duo go wire-to-wire in record setting fashion.
Cantlay and Schauffele opened up play with a 59, finished with a tournament record 29-under, and both played Mitsubishi Golf shafts in their drivers and fairway woods.
Cantlay used a Mitsubishi Diamana ZF 60 in his Titleist driver, and Diamana ZF 70 and 80 in his Titleist 3 wood and 7 wood. While Schauffele used a Mitsubishi Kaili 70 shaft in his Callaway driver, and Kaili 70 and 80 in his Callaway 3 wood and 7 wood.
Mitsubishi Golf also won the total driver shaft count this week on the DP World Tour in Spain.
