Tickets for the 4th U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship are now available for purchase. The championship, conducted by the United States Golf Association (USGA), will be held in the state of Ohio for the first time at historic NCR Country Club in Kettering, from Aug. 25-28, 2022.
Fans will have the opportunity to experience all four championship rounds by purchasing good-any-one-day Gallery tickets, which are available as a single ticket option for $30 or as a two-pack for $50. The good-any-one-day ticket provides fans with the flexibility to attend the championship at their leisure and includes the opportunity to purchase food and beverages as well as complimentary parking. Juniors (age 18 and under) will receive free admission with a ticketed adult.
The U.S. Senior Women’s Open Championship is one of the only professional golf events that offers fans the unique and exciting opportunity to be inside the ropes. This means attendees can watch the action up-close and walk the fairways alongside some of golf’s legends, including defending U.S. Senior Women’s Open champion and three-time U.S. Women’s Open champion Annika Sorenstam; two-time U.S. Women’s Open champion Juli Inkster; 2018 U.S. Senior Women’s Open champion Laura Davies; Jane Geddes, who won the 1986 U.S. Women’s Open at NCR Country Club, and many more.
The 2022 U.S. Senior Women’s Open will be the fifth USGA championship on the South Course at NCR Country Club and the 41st USGA championship held in Ohio. The Buckeye State most recently hosted the 2019 U.S. Junior Amateur at Inverness Club in Toledo, won by Preston Summerhays. Geddes earned her victory in the 1986 U.S. Women’s Open at NCR in an 18-hole playoff over Sally Little. NCR also hosted the 1998 U.S. Mid-Amateur, won by John “Spider” Miller; the 2005 U.S. Senior Open, won by Allen Doyle, and the 2013 U.S. Women’s State Team Championship, won by New Jersey. NCR also hosted the 1969 PGA Championship, won by four-time major champion Raymond Floyd.
The U.S. Senior Women’s Open is open to professional females, and amateur females with a Handicap Index® not exceeding 7.4, who have reached their 50th birthday as of the first day of the championship. The field will include 120 players, who will earn entry into the championship via qualifying at various sites nationwide or through an exemption category. Entries are currently open and will close on July 6.
