For 100 years, FootJoy has been synonymous with golf-specific design and performance innovation. The brand was born from a company-wide naming competition in 1923, where an associate in the Brockton, MA stitching room submitted a name for a new line of shoes the company was developing – FOOTJOY.
The brand continues to lead and innovate in golf wearables and will celebrate 100 years in the making with the Centennial Collection. This collection is FJ’s take on an unmatched legacy of performance innovation and style, featuring a limited edition Premiere Series Wilcox for Men, a Women’s Premiere Series Shield Tip and an apparel collection that includes timeless and sophisticated polos, cardigans, hoodies and sweaters.
The exclusive footwear options feature an iconic red, white and blue colorway, highlighted in spectacular fashion at the 1973 U.S. Open Championship. The shoe is packaged with a 100-Year Medallion that commemorates FJ’s history of innovation and leadership, supercharged for today’s player with the very popular VersaTrax+ outsole, with multiple traction elements that create a system that delivers excellent performance on any surface.
The apparel collection includes classic 4-button placket Lisle polos for men and women, a traditional cardigan and modern mid-weight hoodie for men, and a svelte crewneck sweater for women. Inspired by vintage vibes with a modern twist, the collection is reimagined with innovation technologies including drirelease®/merino wool blends.
FootJoy will be providing a select number of Tour players with the Centennial Collection footwear at the 123rd U.S. Open Championship at The Los Angeles Country Club, including Justin Thomas, Max Homa, Cameron Young, Adam Scott and many more.
The Centennial Collection is available on FootJoy.com beginning Thursday, June 15, 2023, while supplies last.
