Fans will experience the U.S. Open like never before through a robust lineup of digital offerings designed to immerse them in the action at Oakmont Country Club (Pa.) from June 12–15.

“We’re thrilled to provide fans with an exceptional level of access to this year’s championship through a number of innovative digital offerings that are sure to provide golf fans unparalleled access to the action from Oakmont Country Club,” said USGA Chief Commercial Officer Jon Podany. “From live streaming and in-depth AI insights to our immersive Showcase Mode, golf fans across the world will be able to engage in the U.S. Open.”

From June 12-15 fans can expect:

USGA App Built by Deloitte

The USGA App Built by Deloitte* is an all-in-one destination for fans that offers features and innovations to bolster wall-to-wall content for the U.S. Open and provide a more engaging digital landscape in which fans can immerse themselves.

For the second year, the app will feature a leader board “Showcase Mode,” which offers an immersive view to enhance the way fans enjoy the championship. The leader board companion will feature live streaming, video storytelling, AI Insights, social posts and more! The USGA video archive is also available within “USGA Video Central” on the USGA App for the first time, allowing fans to relive some of the greatest moments in USGA Championship history at the touch of a button. Fans will also be able to follow the championship leader board and individual player scorecards on their iOS phone’s lock screen via Live Activities. The app is available for iOS & Android, and new this year, on iPad as well.

ShotCast Powered by Cisco

ShotCast powered by Cisco will allow fans to follow the U.S. Open through a next-generation digital experience featuring every shot from every player. The elevated digital experience, leveraging the PGA Tour’s ShotLink technology, will be available on both the app and on web and will include dynamic shot trails from players and entire groups, radar data, 3D hole imagery, green views and video highlights, so fans can follow everything live or catch up on their favorite players after the round. From the first tee to the final putt, ShotCast Powered by Cisco is reimagining the ways fans experience championship season.

“The Course” In Collaboration with Deloitte

Experience all 18 holes of Oakmont, in collaboration with Deloitte. Get insights on what the world’s best players will face on the iconic Henry C. Fownes design that is hosting the U.S. Open for a record 10th time in a dedicated section of the app and web experiences. Revamped this year, the updated product will feature an even more detailed look at Oakmont, including scatter plots of the entire field on each hole, tracking how the course is playing in real-time.

Live Streaming Presented by American Express

Featured Groups coverage, presented by American Express, will be available for all four rounds of the championship on usopen.com, the USGA App, Peacock, YouTube TV, and DirecTV with three groups on Thursday and Friday in both the morning and afternoon. Contents of each stream over the weekend will be determined once the cut is made, but the streams will again feature morning and afternoon featured groups, or a combination of featured groups and a Par-3 channel. Streaming coverage is available for free on usopen.com and the USGA App, while Peacock, YouTubeTV and DirecTV require a subscription.

USGA Fantasy Flip Presented by Ally

In its second year, this free-to-play fantasy game will offer fans the chance to be invested in the action. Fans build their own team by opening packs of player cards on the USGA app and usopen.com. Fans root for the players on their fantasy team and will score points according to their player’s outcome performance on the course. This game will be available during all eight broadcasted USGA championships, including the U.S. Open, and will offer fans the chance to win great prizes throughout the season, including the season-long grand prize of a trip to the 2026 U.S. Open at Shinnecock Hills Golf Club.

NBC Broadcast: Most Hours on Network of any Major Championship

NBCU will present exclusive coverage of the U.S. Open from Oakmont Country Club across NBC, USA Network and Peacock. NBC Sports’ presentation will include over 46 hours of live broadcast coverage, covering first tee to final putt across the championship, with 21 hours on NBC Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the championship.

NBC Sports and the USGA will also complement U.S. Open coverage with six featured groups per day (Thursday and Friday) enhanced by the full power of our linear coverage—including cutting-edge technology like Emmy Award Winning Drone Tracing technology, in addition to other top-tier production enhancements.  The contents of the weekend’s digital streams will be determined after the cut is made. The U.S. Open digital feeds will be available on usopen.com, the USGA App, Peacock, YouTube TV, and DirecTV.

Back again in 2025, nearly 25 hours of U.S. Open All-Access will focus on whip-around coverage, similar to the NFL’s Red Zone, bringing viewers more golf in one feed, exclusively on Peacock.  In addition, Peacock will also provide Sky UK’s U.S. Open coverage as a dedicated stream on Saturday and Sunday of the championship, which will be incorporated into All-Access. Exclusive to Peacock, multiview coverage will be introduced as part of the U.S. Open viewing experience, offering fans the ability to watch all three daily Featured Groups simultaneously.

Throughout the week, the U.S. Open will be broadcast live to a global audience of nearly 200 countries and territories. The American Forces Network will also broadcast the championship to U.S. military installations throughout the world.

U.S. Open Championship in Shared Reality

The USGA will collaborate with Cosm, a leading immersive technology, media, and entertainment company, to present 2025 U.S. Open in Shared Reality at Cosm’s experiential venues in Los Angeles at Hollywood Park and Dallas at Grandscape on Saturday and Sunday, June 14-15. This will be the first-ever major golf championship to be experienced at Cosm. Fans are invited to the U.S. Open watch parties at Cosm – featuring large-scale 87-foot-diameter 12K+ LED domes that bridge the virtual and physical worlds – which will transport guests to the 16th, 17th, and 18th holes, delivering a heightened visual experience as the world’s best golfers compete at historic Oakmont Country Club. Tickets to attend the 2025 U.S. Open watch parties at Cosm can be purchased now on Cosm.com.
