The 2019 Pro V1 and Pro V1x aren't marketed as distance balls, but they still deliver really great distance off the tee and with your irons. And perhaps the most impressive thing about both of these balls is how consistent they are in performance and feel. They're just superb for short game control. And if we're being honest, only a handful of ball manufacturers at most can make that claim.
Pro V1x was always the lower spinning of the two, but actually became higher spinning (whole remaining higher launching) than the Pro V1. The Pro V1 delivered a more penetrating trajectory, softer feel, and spun less than Pro V1x.
This remains true with Titleist's newest 2019 balls, however with a slight tweak. Pro V1 and Pro V1x still maintain the same relationship between them, but they are now both lower spinning and produce faster ball speeds throughout the bag.
If you choose the right golf ball, it can be pure magic, we all know that. And so here's a general breakdown for you on the differences between Pro V1 and Pro V1x .
Compared to Pro V1x, Pro V1 will feel softer, flight lower, produce similarly low spin in your long-irons, spin somewhat less in your mid-irons, and spin high but not quite as much in your short-irons. So there you have it!
Now a little about the Tour Performance Knit Pom Pom Winter Hat, because well, it's part of this DAY 1 giveaway.
A knit hat is a knit hat right?
Actually not really. And the Titleist Tour Performance knit hat is one of the best you'll ever wear in colder temps. It's got great stretch (which granted many hats do), but the stretch also doesn't lose elasticity after multiple wears and washings. Sometimes it's the small things, and quality always matters.
Most winter hats are going to do a decent job keeping you warm as well. But this Titleist hat is lined with a micro-fleece liner which which just feels better on your head, over your ears, and especially if you maybe have that Vin Diesel or Michael Jordan clean dome look.
What I like most about the Tour Performance Knit hats however is their breathability. A lot of winter hats keep you warm but take them off after your round and it looks like you've just come out of a sauna, and your hair is pretty much glued to your scalp in the most unattractive way imaginable.
The Titleist Tour Performance Knit keeps you warm and comfortable during your round, and you're still looking good after you take it off, which is useful for those post-round pics on the 18th green.
Remember you have three different ways to win the daily gifts in my giveaway this year.
