Galvin Green Launches Stellar Part 2 Line for 2020

Galvin Green, the leading premium golf apparel brand that looks to deliver stellar performance from every single garment, has turned to the ‘Science of Excellence’ for inspiration for its 2020 Part Two clothing range launched this month.

Calling on 30 years of experience in performance-driven design and passion for the game, the brand  set out to provide technical clothing that would give golfers an extra edge, while adding new styles and color combinations to provide a feel-good factor unrivaled in the golf apparel market.

“We’ve taken a scientific approach to designing this new range to ensure that success on the golf course is built into every detail that’s relevant to the golfer and their performance,” said CEO Nicholai Stein.

“No detail is too small if it has a reason to exist, because Galvin Green understands that serious golfers never stop striving to improve their game where they can. Our aim is to help them with garments that offer exceptional comfort and performance as well as style – so we mirror that pursuit of perfection across our entire range of clothing,” he added.

The comprehensive collection of golf wear is designed to enable golfers to perform well in all weather conditions they encounter. It includes cutting-edge fabric technologies to maximize performance levels, while minimizing any social or environmental impact.

The brand’s holistic approach to sustainability that began in 2013 is reflected in the fact that many garments in the latest range are made from materials approved under the globally recognized Bluesign® textile manufacturing standard. This includes all GORE-TEX outerwear products, INSULA™ mid-layer garments, VENTIL8™ PLUS trousers and even garment labels. All INSULA™ sweaters are now made from recycled polyester, while hangers and bags are made of recycled plastic.

Layering Combinations
Among its latest innovations, the brand has put forward ‘Comfort Combinations’ that equip a golfer with layering suggestions for different playing conditions – Rainy, Cold & Windy, Windy and Sunny – while matching them with new colorways. In the new men’s range for example, the outfits for a rainy day feature the APOLLO waterproof GORE-TEX Paclite® stretch fabric jacket in the new Red Orange/Sharkskin/White/Black colors, plus the DWIGHT INSULA™ sweater made from recycled plastic bottles in Red and the EDWIN Thermal SKINTIGHT™ vest in Black.

There are no fewer than five GORE-TEX technologies in the range that are all Guaranteed To Keep You Dry™.

The revolutionary super-lightweight SHAKEDRY™ product technology sees water bead up and roll off the garment, which is available in the full-zip ASHTON (Ash Grey/Red & Ash Grey/Silver options) and the half-zip ASHBY (Ash Grey/Red) with a side zipper to quickly peel off.  Extremely breathable, these streamlined jackets also feature shaped sleeves for easy movement, an elastic drawstring at the hem and cuffs with partial elastic to keep out the rain.

The four other Shell Layer waterproofs are the GORE-TEX fabric with a C-KNIT™ backer that will ‘slide & glide’ over garments worn underneath (the ARCHIE flagship model features Techsteel™ on the shoulders for greater durability); the GORE-TEX fabric with mesh lining for added warmth (AARON); the lightweight and packable GORE-TEX Paclite® technology (APOLLO); and the GORE-TEX Superstretch technology offering optimal freedom of movement (ALEX).

Each of these jackets can be matched with popular, durable waterproof trousers in the form of AXEL (Black) and ANDY (Navy & Black), plus the Paclite® stretch pant ARTHUR (Navy, Black & the new Sharkskin) in up to XX size options.

Comfort Levels
The INTERFACE-1™ range of Hybrid windproof and water-repellent jackets that the brand recommends being worn on 95 out of 100 rounds has been expanded to include the new LANZO padded jacket in Navy and Black with a warming effect #3 comfort level. Also featured is the new LANGLEY in an INTERFACE-1™ stretch fabric with a warming effect #1 comfort level. It comes with a full zip and front pockets in three colors, including Navy/White. LEX is a new half-zip version in five colors, including Red/Black.

Among the latest sweaters in INSULA™ stretch fabric which also now offer three comfort levels, are the DANTE hoodie (Black) and DUKE half-zip made from recycled plastic bottles with padded shoulders for extra warmth in Navy and Black. INSULA™ LITE stretch fabric is used to make an extended DIXON line of DIXON (half-zip) sweaters in five colour choices, including Red Orange.

The collection of VENTIL8™ PLUS cool layer shirts is led by the star-spangled MASON in four color options and offers excellent moisture-wicking properties and UV protection 20+.

Colors in the Women’s collection range from Deep Pink and Blush Pink to Navy and Steel or Cool Grey, matched with Black, White or Silver. The premium AURORA waterproof jacket in GORE-TEX fabric has a two-way front zipper and a lightweight mesh lining for extra warmth and comes in Navy/White and Deep Pink/White, while the ARISSA offers an alternative style in Cool Grey/White and Black/Silver. The lightweight Paclite® stretch fabric range features the new AINO jacket in three colorways, including Deep Pink/White/Silver.

The latest Junior range incorporates more than 25 colorful garments for girls and boys, including the ROB hoodie in four colors and six different shirts to choose from for the first time.
