We've waited two years for an Open Championship, and the golf gods have rewarded our patience. The 149th Open Championship has produced record-setting performances, emotional meltdowns, and ball striking clinics from the game's biggest names.
And on this eve of the final round from Royal St. George's, all that remains to be seen is who the golf gods will smile upon to hoist the Claret Jug on Sunday.
Royal St. George's opened in 1887 and hosts The Open this week for the 15th time. On the coast of the English Channel and within view of France, it's undergone a series of renovations and restorations in its storied history. But one thing that hasn't changed is how difficult this course can play.
Numerous blind shots, severe undulations in the fairways and landing areas, and thick deep rough can beat up the best players in the world, even in benign conditions.
As you've seen, I've been interviewing players during the week between rounds. We've talked with 54-hole leader Louis Oosthuizen, four-time major champion Brooks Koepka, and young gun Collin Morikawa (who's looking to become the only player in history to win the PGA Championship and Open Championship in his debut), among others.
And the players have all been absolutely great, giving very real and honest answers and insights into not only their golf games, but also their personalities.
Collin Morikawa is obviously a humble, poised player.

He also personifies that champion mentality exchange from The Replacements…
Shane Falco, “I want the ball.”
Coach McGinty, “Winners always do.”
Thanks @collin_morikawa, best of luck tomorrow. 👍 #TheOpen pic.twitter.com/U4fGfuwv7e
Among the many great things about covering this Open Championship is having a look at the exact same yardage and green books the players are using this week in competition. And trust me, you've probably never seen yardage and green books this detailed and exhaustive.
As we get ready for the final round to begin in just a few hours, here's a look at every hole at Royal St. George from the perspective of these Open Championship players yardage and green books. And they'll definitely being another level of appreciation to the championship while you watch. Have a great Open Championship Sunday all!
