Reynolds Lake Oconee has announced the promotion of Jason Plazola to General Manager of The Club at Reynolds Lake Oconee.
“The appointment of Jason to the General Manager position is the next step in the growth of our team and the continued success of The Club,” said Tim Hong, Chief Operating Officer, Reynolds Lake Oconee. “We believe there is tremendous value in being able to promote someone from within our organization and his institutional knowledge and understanding of our community will pay dividends for years to come.”
Plazola joined Reynolds in 2016 as Director of Food and Beverage and most recently served as the Director of Hospitality, overseeing the front of house food and beverage teams, catering and events, cottage rentals, housekeeping, and concierge. He has been instrumental in staff training and development. As General Manager, Plazola will oversee golf operations and golf course maintenance, culinary operations, tennis, recreation, and the Linger Longer Living cultural series, in addition to his existing responsibilities.
