Edel Golf is proud to announce that its 2022 product lineup has garnered two Golf Digest Hot List gold medals for their EAS Mallet and Blade Putters in addition to a silver medal for their new SMS Forged Wedges.

The EAS (Edel Alignment System) putter line has now won multiple gold medals in back-to-back years. The key technology of the EAS putter line is built around the ability to customize a large number of variables to fit just about anybody with a specific focus on fitting aim and speed. The interchangeable alignment plates, coupled with the ability to fit to a person’s specific aim bias really sets this line of putters apart. With four different head shapes, multiple alignment plate options, five different head weight options, endless counterweight options by using the Tour Lock Pro Opti-Vibe weighting system, and a number of stock and custom grip options, the EAS putter line has completely changed the game for fitting customization.
With the new SMS Forged wedges, testing showed only 20% of golfers saw their best performance with the heaviest weight in the center, meaning 80% of golfers will benefit from the ability to adjust the weight in their wedge to match their swing. When golfers found their preferred weight location, they saw 44% more accuracy down range in combined distance and offline dispersion. Players also saw roughly 10% more backspin with the heaviest weight in it’s preferred position.
In addition to the weighting technology, the new SMS wedges feature a Forged 1025 Japanese carbon steel construction with an elongated groove pattern for more groove coverage across the face. The new CNC milled sole grinds allor for extremely tight tolerances in both weight and consistency of grind from wedge to wedge. Golfers use their wedges in a variety of ways from full shots out of the fairways to a number of various face angles and swing types around the greens. Because of that, we’ve created four unique sole grinds to bring the ultimate playability and customization to these wedges.
