Major champion and World No. 10 Georgia Hall and Southern California natives / LPGA Tour winners Danielle Kang and Lilia Vu headline the latest commitments to the 2023 JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro, an inaugural event on the LPGA Tour taking place at Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles, April 27-30.
The championship will feature a $3 million purse, one of the largest prize funds on the LPGA Tour outside of major championships.
Eight of the top-10 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings are entered into the championship, including World No. 2 Nelly Korda, Jin Young Ko (3), Atthaya Thitikul (4), Minjee Lee (5), Brooke Henderson (7), Celine Boutier (8), Hyo-Joo Kim (9) and Hall (10).
Kang and Vu join several Southern California-area residents/natives who are committed to the championship, including Alison Lee, Andrea Lee, Lizette Salas and Angel Yin. For a complete list of tournament entries, click HERE.

The JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro will feature a field of 144 of the world’s best female professional golfers vying for a share of the $3 million purse. Players have until Wednesday, April 19 to commit to the JM Eagle LA Championship presented by Plastpro. GOLF Channel will televise all four rounds of play live and in primetime on the East Coast.
Hall, the 2018 AIG Women’s Open Champion and who has eight professional wins around the world, recorded two runner-up finishes in her first two LPGA Tour events in 2023, moving up to 10th position in the world golf rankings.
Kang, a Ventura County native who has amassed six professional wins and one major championship, is currently the 14th ranked player in the world. She is coming off a T7 finish at the DIO Implant LA Open at Palos Verdes Golf Club, her best finish thus far in 2023.
Vu, a Los Angeles-area resident and currently the 11th ranked player in the world, captured her first LPGA Tour win in February at the 2023 Honda LPGA Thailand, In her first three starts in 2023, she has two top-10 finishes (including her win) and a T14. The Fountain Valley resident was the world’s top-ranked amateur for 31 weeks in 2018 and 2019 as a member of the UCLA Bruins women’s golf team.
Hall, Kang and Vu also will be representing their respective countries (Hall – England; Kang and Vu – United States) at the upcoming Hanwha LIFEPLUS International Crown in San Francisco in May.
Tournament officials will be announcing soon sponsor exemptions and additional field commitments leading up to the championship.
Tickets On Sale: Tickets are on sale for the 2023 JM Eagle LA Championship exclusively online at www.jmeaglelachampionship.com. Ticket packages include exclusive hospitality and general admissions tickets offering a wide degree of entertainment and access. All 2023 tournament tickets will be digital and will be emailed after purchase. Tickets can be viewed on either a mobile device or printed out where they will be scanned at the main gate.

Macbeth Pass 18th Green Hospitality:
Open-air, semi-private luxury suite overlooking the 18th Green. The suite features an open bar and ticket holders have access to the hospitality buffet inside Wilshire Country Club. Also allows access to the Sunset Lounge. Weekly and Daily Tickets are available throughout competition days (Thursday, April 27 – Sunday, April 30).

Weekly: $1,500 (Valid all competition days Thursday-Sunday)
All military personnel (active, retired, reserve and veteran) and first responders (police, fire, EMS) and immediate family (up to four total) will receive complimentary admission to the tournament, compliments of SERVPRO. Tickets will be available at Will Call tournament week by showing proper identification. Military and first responders also will have complimentary access to the SERVPRO Hero Outpost, an exclusive hospitality suite overlooking the 18th green. Complimentary Hero Outpost tickets are available at www.jmeaglelachampionship.com. Children under 18 also will be admitted free into the tournament with a paid adult.
Volunteer Registration Open: Volunteer registration for the JM Eagle LA Championship is open. Each year, hundreds of volunteers donate their time to serve critical needs such as marshaling, scoring, transportation, hospitality services and many other important roles. The JM Eagle LA Championship is seeking more than 500 volunteers to fill a variety of roles tournament week. The $65 package includes one official tournament branded golf shirt; a hat or visor; volunteer pin; one volunteer badge allowing clubhouse access and free parking all week; four daily grounds tickets; and free breakfast and lunch for each day worked.
