Tour Edge has announced the all-new Exotics 722 Series metalwoods in their biggest Exotics launch in company history.
For the first time in an Exotics lineup, the 722 Series will offer two distinct ranges covering every product category in the series, the E722 and C722. This means there will be two separate drivers, fairways, hybrids, and iron designs. There is also a new Ti-Utility iron being launched on the C side of 722.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced that The Home Course, in DuPont, Wash., will host the 8th U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship. The dates of the championship are May 13-17, 2023.
This will be the second USGA championship to be held at The Home Course, which hosted the 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links. The course also served as the stroke-play co-host for the 2010 U.S. Amateur and 2021 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball, each of which was contested at Chambers Bay. The U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship returns to the Pacific Northwest for the first time since the inaugural event was played in 2015 at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, in Bandon, Ore.

Reynolds Lake Oconee will serve as the epicenter for top collegiate golfers during the next four weeks as it plays host to women’s and men’s intercollegiate golf tournaments, including the 17th annual Linger Longer Invitational (LLI) next month.

The USGA today announced that the Daniel Island Club, in Charleston, S.C., has been selected as the host site for the 2023 U.S. Junior Amateur and 2026 U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championships. These will be the first two USGA championships held at Daniel Island Club.

The PGA TOUR and TrackMan announced today they are expanding golf’s most advanced club and ball tracking and tracing solution. By combining TrackMan’s cutting-edge Doppler Radar and club and ball tracking technology, TOUR events will have tracing capabilities for every golf shot hit during the season. This will significantly enhance how fans experience the world’s best golfers by providing more detail for television, OTT and digital platforms.

FlightScope, the global leader and pioneer in tracking and analyzing sports performance data, has welcomed the outcome of an appeal case in the District Court of Düsseldorf that has ruled it did not infringe on a Trackman product patent in Germany.
The initial case was filed more than 10 years ago, suggesting that a FlightScope product infringed on a particular Ball Spin Patent, relating to the method Trackman used for estimating the rotation velocity or spin frequency of a rotating sports ball. Having initially ruled in the Danish company’s favor in May 2013, that has now been overturned under appeal.

Callaway Golf has released new Chrome Soft golf balls for 2022, and I took them out recently to compare against each other and also to the previous gen. I tested the Chrome Soft and Chrome Soft X. And let's just say Chrome just got Chromier.
Between the new 2022 Chrome Soft and and Chrome Soft X, Soft will be longer than X through the bag for almost everyone (particularly with driver). The X ball spins more with driver and long/mid-irons, and short game spin between the two is very similar. I also saw a higher peak and descent with the Chrome Soft X overall.

The Swedish brand’s ultra-lightweight and highly breathable clothing will be worn by five star players on the PGA Tour for the forthcoming season. Two-time PGA Tour winner Troy Merritt will be wearing Galvin Green for his sixth consecutive year, after a productive 2021 which saw him pick up four top-10s including a second-place finish at the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Joining Merritt for another year is Lanto Griffin, who recorded two top 10 finishes in the 20/21 season followed by back to back top 10s at the start of the 21/22 season, coming at the Shriners Children’s Open and the ZOZO Championship.

Callaway Golf has officially announced that David Duval has joined their Professional Staff.
Duval will play Callaway Woods, Irons, a Callaway Chrome Soft Golf Ball, and an Odyssey Putter on the Champions Tour.
