The CB-301 irons are fully forged cavity backs with an incredibly large sweet spot for consistent distance and accuracy, and also the longest irons Miura has ever produced. Miura's calling them the model we've all been waiting for. I'm calling them a cavity back design that potentially creates an entirely new standard for iron performance and exellence. Straight up, these look like champions for golfers of all skill levels.
The CB-301 irons are constructed to optimize the feel and playability of a players iron, and combine that with forgiveness and distance to improve any skill level.
Highlights include:
- Longest full forged cavity back iron produced by Miura
- Hand forged using Miura's 14-step manufacturing process
- Tour inspired shape and slightly larger footprint than the MC-501
- Precision placed center of gravity to enhance feel and performance, and produce higher, straighter, and longer shots.
The sole width and shape looks ideal for turf interaction, and there's nothing bulky about it to sacrifice workability. Plated in nickel chrome with a satin finish, the CB-301s clearly maintain Miura's meticulous attention to quality and legendary craftsmanship. Each club is individually handcrafted and never be mass produced.
Miura's endless quest for the perfect club has brought the world more than 10 product lines since 1957, and I'm extremely excited to hit these and report back to you from the PGA Show next week. And if they perform like I expect them to perform, don't be surprised to see them in my bag this year. Honestly, they look like the closest thing to the holy grail of cavity back irons that Miura has ever created.

Beautiful looking clubs.
ReplyDeleteHope you get the chance to give them a thorough testing. Cleveland is kind of cold right now :)
Will definitely give them attention at Demo Day to get you guys some useful impressions. And if they're special (which I'm presuming they will be), you'll get the full blown on course season long review like I do for all my equipment reviews. And yes, it's a bit cold here in Cleveland, ha. Onward to sunny Orlando!
ReplyDeleteFabulous!!! I hit them at a demo day. Best irons I ever hit...better than Epon!!!
