2019 PGA Merchandise Show and Demo Day Giveaway

The 2019 PGA Merchandise Show wrapped up on Friday, and if you follow me on twitter and Instagram I brought you behind the scenes at Demo Day and from the convention floor.

I'll start posting more pictures, videos, and articles beginning this week that you don't want to miss - including recaps of each day, winners and losers from the Show, and my annual Best of Show wrap-up.  And of course, I also brought home some goodies for you and this year we have eight really fun giveaways!

You can enter to win three ways.  First, you can leave a comment in the section below in this article here on my blog.  Second, you can also enter on twitter by retweeting the various giveaway tweets and following the companies.  And finally on Instagram you can win by liking the giveaway posts, following the companies and tagging three of your friends.

I'll announce the winners on my blog, twitter, Instagram this Thursday, and we'll have at least one winner from each platform (ie, one from my blog, one from twitter, and one from Instagram).  Each place you enter counts as one entry, so the more places you enter the more chances you have to win.  Winner will need to contact me via email or DM within 24 hours of winner announcement or prize will go to someone else.  And as always this one's open to everyone worldwide.

Here are the eight giveaways you can win, with a little info or description about them as well.

Mizuno returned to the PGA Show for the first time in awhile, and the buzz was electric.  From their new JPX 919 Hot Metal Pro irons to the ST 190 drivers, fans flocked to hit these clubs and check them out on the floor.

And if that wasn't enough excitement, Mizuno announced their first American golf ball release - the RB Tour and RB Tour X that feature cone-shaped dimples that create less drag and more carry than traditional dimples.  One of you will be one of the first to hit them as I'm giving some away (your choice of Tour or Tour X - the X will spin more pretty much throughout the bag).

Cobra Golf, Puma Golf, and CRU Golf have collaborated to create very limited edition leather headcovers this season for Rickie Fowler at various events on the PGA Tour schedule.  And the first is the Play Loose headcover designed for the Farmers Insurance Open.

I've seen the entire collection and I can tell you from the first in the series to the last, these are some of the finest limited edition headcovers you'll ever find anywhere.  They're the exact same headcovers you'll see Rickie using any given week - Rickie of course has dibs on the number 1 in each series.

New Balance released a new pair of golf shoes called the Striker, and the name is fitting.  It's the most stable and most attractive shoe they've ever made, and though I only tried them on for a few minutes, the comfort level is fantastic.

One of you will win your very own pair, and can choose whatever color (and of course size) you want.

Travis Mathew might be the king of cool in golf, and their new spring and fall 2019 lines are not surprisingly totally awesome.  They've become one of my favorite apparel companies because of their impeccable quality and unique styles, and I'll definitely have more about their lines through the year.

The new 2019 "Sunday" Tour caps are extremely cool, and this one's destined to become one of your favorite new caps.

You already know I hit and tested the 2019 Titleist Pro V1 and Pro V1x golf balls at the end of last year, and now they're ready to come to retail.

I learned more about the process Titleist uses to make new balls and it truly amazed me.  It also made sense because each year the golf balls really do find a way to improve some aspect of performance, and for me the main point this year is increased distance in both balls.

Wilson, Wilson, Wilson.  Just wow ladies and gents.  Their new murdered-out Tour cap is my favorite Wilson cap of all time.  The 2019 D7 line or woods and irons stole the show at Demo Day, the Cortex driver is an absolute beast, and the Staff irons are drop-dead gorgeous.  So it makes perfect sense their new Tour cap should be just as amazing.  Love these caps!

The Cobra Golf F9 driver was a top-3 performer for me at Demo Day.  The F9 single length irons are Cobra's best design ever (and I'll tell you ALL about it in a feature article soon).  And these SPEEDBACK black Tour Caps that you'll see Rickie Fowler wearing all year are just wicked looking.

No need to even explain anything or give you details.  Just look at the pics and soak in the awesomeness.

And finally, I'm giving away two dozen Bridgestone e12 golf balls to two lucky winners.  You'll choose between the lower compression Soft version or higher compression Speed version.

Both were designed with Tour category technology specifically for these balls, and if you haven't noticed, Bridgestone's on one hell of a roll right now - with eight worldwide wins in the last 16 events, and a product line that gives as much attention and care to the amateur golfer as it does to the pros.  So much goodness going on with Bridgestone right now.

Well, that's the gist for the giveaways.  Good luck to all who enter and can't wait to bring you the rest of the story in the upcoming weeks!

  19. Everything looks fantastic. The mizuno golf balls are really intriguing. I’ve admired their golf clubs for awhile. Can’t wait to find a pair of new balance golf shoes to try them on too. Style and comfort is always a win. Wilson staff looks like it’s taken it’s game to another level in every phase. Can’t wait to read more about it all.
