Lanto Griffin trusted the MODUS 3 winning the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail at Capitol Hill in a playoff, while Brooke Henderson also used the MODUS 3 to win the Lotte Championship. The two wins over the weekend marked victories nine and 10 for Nippon MODUS this season, and an incredible 164 victories on professional Tours since the shaft's introduction.
Griffin shot 15-under par and earned $99,000 for the victory, and jumped to ninth place on the Web.com money list, putting himself in good position to earn his PGA Tour playing privileges for next season.
Meanwhile on the LPGA Tour, Henderson used N.S. PRO MODUS 3 Tour 105 steel shafts in her irons and the MODUS 3 Wedge 115 steel shafts in her wedges in the successful defense of the Lotte Championship.
Henderson shot 16-under par for a four-stroke victory over her nearest competitor. The win was Henderson's eighth on Tour, which ties her for the most professional victories by a Canadian. Her winner’s check was $300,000.
