Club Champion, the globe’s top club fitter and builder, announced the opening of a new fitting studio located at Platinum House, Sussex Manor Business Park, Gatwick Road, West Sussex, Crawley. The store is open and accepting fitting appointments.
This is the second new Club Champion location in the UK, alongside the additional English locations previously recognized as Golf Principles. The brand also has partnered affiliations in Canada, Scotland, and Australia.
“We’re thrilled to open this latest studio and expand in England,” said Adam Levy, CEO of Club Champion. “With this location, we can continue lowering the scores of golfers in this serious golf community through better equipment.”
The new studio features two indoor hitting bays with Foresight GC Quad launch monitors for analyzing performance, and Quintic Ball Roll putter technology, to find the perfect putter. The 2,000 square foot space also includes a demo matrix of head and shaft options that make up over 50,000 hittable club combinations from over 40 brands, including Callaway, Ping, TaylorMade, Titleist, Cobra, Srixon, Golf Pride, and many more.
“This is an exciting opportunity for every golfer in the southeast,” said Warren Scarr, Club Champion’s International General Manager. “From our proven fitting process to the unrivaled expertise in golf equipment, golfers will be thrilled to have access to this sort of experience when looking to better their game.”
The custom fitting team in Crawley is led by Michael Wynn, the new studio manager and Master Fitter. Mike will be joined by AJ Richardson, local PGA Pro, who has been spending time working and training alongside Jason MacNiven in the Basingstoke studio.
