Sacks Parente Golf Company (SPG), creators of exceptional putting instruments and a growing portfolio of golf shafts, grips and other golf-related products, has announced that PGA TOUR Champions player Gene Sauers has signed an agreement to play and promote Sacks Parente Golf putters.
“I chose Sacks Parente putters for a number of reasons,” said Sauers. “When I tried a Sacks Parente putter for the first time, it was a feeling in a putter I have never felt before. My putting stroke felt smooth. It felt like the putter was doing all the work. My distance control was great, which improved my confidence that I need on the greens,” said Sauers.
Sauers joined the PGA TOUR Champions in 2012 and won the first major championship of his career in 2016 at the U.S. Senior Open Championship. This major victory was particularly sweet because it came after he spent years recovering from a life-threatening illness that stole several years away from the competition. Prior to playing on the Champions Tour, Sauers competed on the PGA TOUR starting in 1984, where he captured three PGA TOUR titles.
“We are thrilled to have Gene representing Sacks Parente. He is a major champion, an inspiration and will be a great ambassador for Sacks Parenteputters,” said Tim Triplet, CEO Sacks Parente. “We are looking forward to partnering with him to help take his successful career to the next level.”
Currently, Sauers has the Sacks Parente Series 54MC 3 Stripe mallet putter in his bag. The Series 54MC VA features the company’s patented Ultra LowBalance Point (ULBP) technology, defined as a balance point of less than five inches from the putter sole, which naturally squares and releases the putter head at impact. This technology incorporates proprietary ULBP ultra-light grips at approximately 33 grams and carbon fiber shafts at about one gram per inch. The result is up to two times better feel and more control than any putter with a conventional steel shaft. The shaft is set into the center of the 54MC 3 Stripe VA putter with Vernier Acuity alignment.
This weight-forward design and high MOI, which positions the center of gravity in alignment with the hosel, provides no-skid roll and allows the ball to hold its line with less than 2% energy loss on off-center putts.
All Sacks Parente putting instruments contain the patented ULBP technology, face forward CG, and ultra-high MOI. Test results from Golf Labs prove that these putting instruments help golfers make more putts because of improved swing path, improved tempo, more distance control, better head release/closure, and more putter head feel.
