Looking to score an ace this year with your Father’s Day gift? Search no more as Reynolds Lake Oconee, the highly acclaimed golf community located between Augusta and Atlanta, offers dad a wide-ranging golf experience that he’ll not soon forget.
For starters, to ensure his equipment matches his passion for the game, dad will start with a comprehensive club-fitting and building experience with a visit to The Kingdom at Reynolds Lake Oconee. Since opening in 2007, The Kingdom at Reynolds Lake Oconee is the country’s only TaylorMade fitting venue where recreational golfers have access to the same expertise and technology used by TaylorMade’s athletes and club pros.
Once outfitted with clubs that match perfectly with his swing, dad will be poised to immerse in the “Blake Adams Kingdom Experience,” where he’ll have a custom experience created for him with Reynolds’ Director of Player Development. Adams, a PGA Tour professional, will share tips and offer instruction as well as entertain with stories from his 20 years as a pro when he was paired with all the top Tour professionals. But for this day, his playing partner will be dad.
This experience extends beyond golf should dad have other sporting interests and can be constructed any number of ways. Here’s one potential itinerary:
Day 1 (morning arrival): Club fitting at The Kingdom, lunch, and shooting clays at Sandy Creek Sporting Grounds with Adams.
Day 2: Morning fishing, and afternoon golf with Adams.
Day 3 (afternoon departure): Morning golf.
“Whether he’s holding a golf club, fishing rod, shotgun, or a pour from one of our award-winning bourbons, Blake is a terrific complement to every activity on property,” said Tim Hong, Chief Operating Officer, Reynolds Lake Oconee. “He’s also great at creating experiences for lifelong memories.
The “Experience” also features luxury accommodations in a Reynolds Lake Oconee cottage or condominium; two rounds of golf, including on-course instruction with Adams; $100 resort credit; and daily Southern-style breakfast.
With the recently announced addition of a new course to open in late 2024, Reynolds Lake Oconee will feature seven golf courses from such noted designers as Tom Fazio, Jack Nicklaus, Rees Jones, Bob Cupp, and Jim Engh.
Rates for the Father’s Day “Experience” vary based on length of stay, activities, club fitting, and number of rounds of golf. For additional information, call (706) 467-3563.
