Tour Edge, the pound-for-pound industry leader in performance and innovation, experienced their 22nd PGA TOUR Champions victory Sunday at the Insperity Invitational in The Woodlands, TX.
The 2022 Schwab Cup champion had a 22-degree Exotics C721 Hybrid in the bag for the four-shot victory that saw him successfully defend his Insperity title from last year.
The New Zealander has been choosing the Tour Edge club since September of 2021, a historic run that includes six victories and 30 Top 10 finishes.
So far after eight events in the 2023 season, Tour Edge has been a part of two victories, two runner-up finishes, and 14 Top 10 finishes.
With the victory this week, Tour Edge has now been a part of 22 victories and 36 runner-up finishes on the PGA TOUR Champions since they started servicing the tour full-time in 2018.
That gives Tour Edge clubs 58 combined 1st place and runner-up finishes in the last 121 Champions events played (47% of all Champions events in that time span).
Tour Edge has seen more than 3,500 clubs played by over 160 different PGA Tour professionals on the three PGA Tours over the last five seasons.
Exotics C723 Ranks as the #1 Most Played Fairway and Hybrid Model in Texas.
Tour Edge ranked as the #1 ranked model for total fairway metals and hybrids in play at The Woodlands Country Club.
There were 12 C723 fairway metal and hybrid models in play at the event, tying them for the #1 ranking for fairway and hybrid models in play.
Overall, 15 players were playing 55 different Tour Edge clubs in the field of the Insperity Invitational (five drivers, 19 fairway metals and hybrids, 20 irons, four utility irons and six wedges).
Six players finished in the Top 25 of the event playing Tour Edge cubs, including a 9th place finish for Tour Edge staff player Ken Duke and a Top 25 finish for staffer Bernhard Langer.
The other four players in the Top 25 playing Tour Edge are non-contracted players.
