Srixon Golf Independent Robot Testing Driver Results

SRIXON®, a global leader in tour-quality golf equipment and innovation, is pleased to announce the results of independent robot testing run by Golf Labs, confirming Srixon’s ZX5 LS Mk II Driver is an average four yards longer than Callaway, TaylorMade, and Titleist Drivers.

The ZX5 LS Mk II tested nine yards longer than TSR2, six yards longer than Stealth 2, and four yards longer than Paradym.

Robot test result averages distance of 30 shots in five separate impact points using TrackMan and 10.5° Srixon ZX5 LS Mk II, 10° Titleist TSR2, 10.5° TaylorMade Stealth 2, and 10.5° Callaway Paradym Drivers. Identical swings targeted 101 MPH head speed and each Driver used stock components in their baseline settings. Golf Labs conducted testing outdoors, using Z-STAR XV golf balls.

“When we first started talking about the ZX5 LS Mk II, we knew we wanted our focus to be on ball speed and creating a ‘tour-driven’ Driver model, as most of our tour staff is looking for the lowest spin possible to gain more distance based on their ball flights,” said Jeff Brunski, Vice President of Research and Development at Srixon. “The Golf Labs results are a testament to all the testing and analysis we put into this Driver and cements what we already knew, in that Srixon belongs in the same conversation as our biggest competitors.”

Srixon’s ZX Mk II line of Drivers, launched earlier this year, consists of three models: the ZX5 Mk II, ZX7 Mk II, and ZX5 LS Mk II. The latter, a Low Spin model, is a first for Srixon’s Driver lineup and is specifically for golfers who benefit from less spin off the tee box. Featuring a strong Rebound Frame design and Dual Flex Zones, ZX Mk II Drivers deliver a purer transfer of power into the golf ball at impact, while instantaneously maximizing ball speed and distance on every strike.
