Letters from Santa DAY 6 PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway: New 2025 Project X Denali Frost Driver Shaft (YOU Choose Blue or Black)

It got a little crazy up on the North Pole recently.  Not sure I like Santa being distracted this close to Christmas Eve but there was a throw-down over by the Tipsy Tinsel Pub.  Santa and (you guessed it) Jack Frost.  Yeah they got into it again this year.  And it all revolved around the new Project X Denali Frost shafts.

Project X Denali Frost are the next generation of Denali shafts and they're receiving rave reviews on Tour.  They were only released in October but already many are saying Frost will be even more popular than the massively popular originals.  Want to be one of the very first to hit this shaft?  Santa said make it happen.  So to wrap up DAY 6 of my PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas we're going to have someone choose whatever they want, the new Denali Frost Blue or Denali Frost Black, any flex.

First, here's Santa's actual letter to me.

The new technology in Denali Frost is designed to give you greater stability while still maintaining feel and phenomenal distance.  Frost stands for Focused Rotational Stability Technology.  In really simple terms, basically Project X added torsional material into the shaft to make it more stable.

There's a difference between the new Denali Blue and new Denali Black so I'll touch on some of those differences to help you choose which one is best for you.

Just like in the original Denali, Blue Frost is mid-launch and mid-spin, while Black Frost is low-launch, low spin.  In robot and player testing however Project X learned that different players benefited from different materials in different locations.

So in the Black Frost Project X put the stability technology down closer to the tip and it's a 40 ton fiber.  The same material in the Blue Frost however stiffened the tip too much and brought the launch down so Project X went to a 30 ton fiber and moved it up the shaft in the Blue to maintain the mid-launch, mid-spin profile while also still allowing Blue to benefit from improved rotational stability.

Remember you always have three different ways to win the daily gifts in my giveaway this year.  And if you miss a day don't worry.  You can enter ANY of the DAY Giveaways anytime throughout the entire 12 Days of Christmas.

On X/Twitter just repost my giveaway announcement and follow all; on Instagram repost and follow all; and here on my blog leave a comment in the section below in the daily DAY review/giveaway, Jingle Bam, Letters from Santa, Santa Said Do It, Kringle Gonna Kringle, and Run It Back Kringle articles.

These gifts are great prizes of course, but also some of the best equipment and gear in their class that I played and reviewed this season.  And I hope these mini reviews and recaps give you an idea of why I rate them so highly.

Merry Christmas all, and here's Santa's letter to me again.

Well Pedro, you knew it was only a matter of time before I wrote you about Jack Frost.  So we get those new Project X Denali Frost shafts in up here on The Pole.  You know, the next generation of Denali.  Blue and Black both, freaking bombers.  And the Frost new stability technology has me hitting drives On A Rope baby!  The problem though?  Of course Jack Frost got a whiff of these and he’s been absolutely incorrigible.

I’ll concede, Jack’s absolutely smashing driver now with his new Denali Frost Blue.  But he’s also rolling around The Pole like Conor McGregor saying to anyone who will listen, “The new Denali Frost was named after me!”  No Jack.  No it wasn’t.  “I’m Strong and Long just like the Denali Frost!”  Bro?? Pump the brakes you braggadocios walking headache.  I couldn’t take it anymore.

So I also got fit into the new Denali Frost Blue and challenged Jack to a long drive competition over by the Tipsy Tinsel Pub.  It’s in Frostbite Falls, you know the one.  Yeah Jack was still smashing it.  But you know what?  Same fairway, different zip codes baby!  I got him by a good 10 yards on every swing.  Jack was demoralized.  And I wasn’t going to be a good sport and acknowledge we were both crushing our drives.

“Yours rolled out nice.  Mine needed a passport,” is the last thing I said to Jack before I saw him duck into the Tipsy Tinsel.  Someone told me the next day he got Elfin’ Wasted on countless Sleigh Faced Martinis.  Jack’s okay though.  Just some wounded pride and powered by poor decisions.  Cuz that’s what happens Jack when you let the big dog eat baby!!!

Let’s get someone into a new Denali Frost shaft.  Let them choose Blue or Black, any flex.  It’s going to transform someone’s game from the tee in 2026.

Catch ya later

Santa

  4. Gotta love these Letters from Santa "Pedro"! I also really enjoy trying new shafts in the driver, and the Project X Denali Frost Blue sounds like it's one I'd do well with. It's been a fantastic first six days Pete, can't wait to see what you have in store for the next six!
