New 2025 Evnroll Zero Torque Putter (Choose ANY Model Custom Built for YOU): 2025 PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway DAY 8

Zero Torque putters aren't a craze anymore, they're here to stay in the equipment industry.  And while all zero torque putters aim to prevent the putter head from twisting open or closed during your stroke different companies employ different designs to neutralize torque and accomplish that goal.  Shafts positioned through CG, counter-balancing, lie angle manipulation, and varying MOI are just a few design philosophies.  So how do you separate one zero torque putter from another?

I can bottom line that answer for you and say the new 2025 Evnroll ZERO Z5 Hatchback putter is one of the best zero torque putters out there right now.  From looks to feel to the ultimate judge and jury - performance, my ZERO Z5 did everything I could want a zero torque putter to do and more.  So to kick off DAY 8 of my PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway let's get one of you into ANY Evnroll Zero Torque putter you want.  You can see all the ZERO models here and Evnroll will even custom build it for you (say for example if you want one of the different color options).

I'm going to touch briefly on a few things about the Evnroll ZERO Z5 Hatchback that I absolutely loved and why I think these things will translate into you loving your new Evnroll Zero Torque putter as well.  As we always do in these 12 Days, think of this like a mini-review for Kringle purposes.

Dangerously Good Looking

If a putter doesn't look good to me I'm not going to roll it well no matter how great the technology.  I know there are a lot of you out there (like me) who value visual comfort as much if not more than design physics.  And the Evnroll ZERO Z5 Hatchback is going to satisfy most purists' eyes.

ZERO Z5 is a traditional looking winged mallet with clean lines and angles.  It's designed like a classic watch: classy, quiet, and deadly accurate.  I don't want my putter to look like some futuristic experiment that escaped a NASA lab or a buddy to look at my putter and ask, "Is that even legal?"  Too many zero torque putters out there are what I'd call aggressively unapologetic in size and shape.  Z5 looks are timeless - never goes out of style, just into the cup.

Soft Feel with Authority

Evnroll's SweetFace Technology is one of the most underrated face techs in the industry.  Certainly because of its performance advantages (I'll touch a bit on that below) but also because of the exceptional feel it produces.

My ZERO Z5 Hatchback is soft but not mushy.  And still there's a definite firmness of feel to provide plenty of audible and tactile feedback.  For me an ideal putter feel straddles that line of soft and firm where I can have it all.  On the one hand Z5 feel is firm enough to provide better distance control and make roll more predictable (especially on faster greens).  On the other hand Z5 feel is also soft enough to control speeds (I can make longer, smoother strokes with Z5 and not worry about the ball jumping off the face).

The Evnroll PhD in Zero Torque Performance

Remember the famous "I'm the captain now" scene from the movie Captain Phillips?  Well, my Evnroll ZERO Z5 Hatchback pretty much is the captain now for me as well.  Even when I tried to gently manipulate the face open or closed ZERO Z5 was coming back into the ball (seemingly) perfectly square.  This putter is just built different.

It was so repeatedly and consistently square into impact I purposefully messed around and at times during my testing just stopped concentrating on aiming.  And putts were still going in.  I'm not literally saying Z5 is auto-pilot or refuses to miss.  But Z5 is absurdly good.

I also get fantastic impact stability and forgiveness with my Evnroll ZERO Z5 Hatchback (something you don't see with many zero torque putters).  If my ZERO Z5 could talk it'd probably tell me any given day, "I woke up and chose excellence."  Mishits on the toe, on the heel, anywhere really - it doesn't matter.  Long putts cozy up to the hole.  Short putts start disappearing into the hole.  If you're a serial three-putter Z5 performance will be both thrilling and deeply confusing.

There will never be one universally great club that's perfect for everyone.  But I'm brutally honest when I tell you the Evnroll ZERO Z5 Hatchback goes beyond being a great putter.  It's a hilariously effective putting machine.  ZERO Z5 is clearly designed for players who want fewer putts, fewer excuses, and more swaggy walks to the next tee.  The only downside to Z5 I can see is it might create unrealistic expectations for the rest of the clubs in your bag.

  9. Really like the looks of the Zero Z5s Satin. Never have tried a zero torque putter nor an Evnroll putter (but have wanted to for numerous years) so this would kill two birds with one stone. Thank you for the opportunity!
