Bridgestone Golf Unveils New e6 Golf Balls With Larger, Softer Core for Improved Distance, Feel, and Overall Performance

Jon Rahm Joins Callaway Golf Staff

Today Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY) announced that Jon Rahm, the #2 ranked player in the world, has joined its Tour professional staff in a multiyear agreement. The Wilson Staff Launch Pad driver is like a straighter more forgiving D7.  I've reviewed both of these drivers (along with the irons) this year, and this was one of the best in the game-improvement category.

Wilson does lightweight and easy to hit drivers as good (maybe even better) than anyone, and Launch Pad is their finest effort.  The face feels hotter than D7, and with even more forgiveness across a wider hitting area.  Compared to D7, Launch Pad spins less, has more offset, and does a great job closing the face.

16 Players Chosen for 48th Walker Cup

The United States Golf Association’s International Team Selection Committee today announced the 16 players who will attend a practice session Dec. 16-18 for the 2021 Walker Cup Match.
