The United States Golf Association (USGA) has announced additional details regarding the U.S. Adaptive Open – a new national championship that will showcase the world’s best golfers with disabilities – including information on the entry process, field composition and competition format.
The U.S. Adaptive Open will serve as the association’s 15th national championship, joining such iconic longstanding events as the U.S. Open, U.S. Women’s Open, U.S. Amateur and U.S. Women’s Amateur. Champions of this new event will see their names recorded in the annals of golf history alongside many of the game’s storied figures. It will be held July 18-20 at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club’s Course No. 6.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced that online entry applications are available now for the 122nd U.S. Open Championship, to be contested from June 16-19 at The Country Club (Championship Course), in Brookline, Mass.
Thousands of golfers will once again attempt to qualify for the championship through a two-stage process in which eventually 156 players will advance to The Country Club and one will be crowned U.S. Open champion. Non-exempt players will compete in one of 109 local qualifiers hosted throughout the United States (with one in Canada) between April 25 and May 23. Nearly 1,000 players will then compete in final qualifying, scheduled at 11 sites worldwide on May 23 and June 6.

Qualifying will be conducted over 36 holes at locations in 17 U.S. states plus three international sites between April 19-May 16. The championship is open to female professionals and amateurs with a Handicap Index® not exceeding 2.4. The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced local and final qualifying sites for the 122nd U.S. Open Championship. The U.S. Open will be contested at The Country Club (Championship Course), in Brookline, Mass., for the fourth time from June 16-19, 2022.
Local qualifying, conducted over 18 holes at 109 sites in 44 U.S. states and Canada, will take place between April 25-May 23. Those players who advance out of local qualifying will join a group of locally exempt players in final qualifying, which will be conducted over 36 holes. The final stage will be held in Japan and Canada as well as nine U.S. sites on May 23 and June 6.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) today announced that The Home Course, in DuPont, Wash., will host the 8th U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship. The dates of the championship are May 13-17, 2023.
This will be the second USGA championship to be held at The Home Course, which hosted the 2014 U.S. Women’s Amateur Public Links. The course also served as the stroke-play co-host for the 2010 U.S. Amateur and 2021 U.S. Amateur Four-Ball, each of which was contested at Chambers Bay. The U.S. Women’s Amateur Four-Ball Championship returns to the Pacific Northwest for the first time since the inaugural event was played in 2015 at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, in Bandon, Ore.

The PGA TOUR and TrackMan announced today they are expanding golf’s most advanced club and ball tracking and tracing solution. By combining TrackMan’s cutting-edge Doppler Radar and club and ball tracking technology, TOUR events will have tracing capabilities for every golf shot hit during the season. This will significantly enhance how fans experience the world’s best golfers by providing more detail for television, OTT and digital platforms.
