PGA Tour Players Overwhelmingly Select Bushnell as Top Choice among Laser Rangefinders

For another consecutive year, Bushnell Golf is definitively the preferred distance-measuring device on the PGA Tour. The Darrell Survey Company, the golf industry’s leading independent and impartial arbiter of equipment use, recently reported that 99.3 percent of the 2023 Players Championship field used a Bushnell laser rangefinder to obtain accurate yardages during competition.

In a survey of 144 players taken during the Players Championship, 143 of those players named Bushnell as their preferred distance-measuring device. Bushnell has claimed the top spot among PGA Tour players every year since measuring device usage recording began in 2006, and once again has been crowned the distance measuring device of choice for PGA Tour players participating in one of the most competitive events in golf.

Aon Risk Reward Challenge at Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio

At just under 350 yards on the scorecard, the 17th at TPC San Antonio is a short par 4 that can be set up – and played – many different ways. When the forward tee is utilized, players are incentivized to go for the green, with 68 percent of the field making that decision.

From the back tee, a layup to the correct area can be beneficial. When positioned 60 to 100 yards from the pin with the second shot, players make birdie more than 34 percent of the time.

First Place Finish for Fujikura Ventus on PGA Tour and DP World Tour

Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver and wood shaft at both events on the PGA Tour last week. Fujikura shafts featured in the bags of the majority of the field at both events, including all of the PGA Tour and DP World Tour winners who each had VENTUS in the bag on their way to victory.

At the WGC Dell Technologies Match Play in Austin, Texas, Fujikura shafts dominated the field, taking the #1 spot in both the driver and wood shaft counts. An impressive 39.1% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, with another 31.8% using a Fujikura wood shaft. This included the eventual match play champion who used VENTUS driver and wood shafts on his way to victory. The 5-time PGA Tour winner used the VENTUS Blue 7-TX in his driver, the VENTUS Black 8-X in his 3-wood and the VENTUS Blue 8-X in his hybrid.

PING Introduces PLD Limited PING Slam Collection

It hadn’t happened before and it hasn’t happened since for any putter brand, but 35 years ago in 1988, PING putters were used to win all four major championships.

To celebrate the remarkable achievement, the company is introducing the “PING Slam” collection as part of its PLD Limited program. Precision-milled versions of the four winning models (Pal, Pal 2, Zing2 and Anser), respectively, will be dropped each Tuesday of this year’s four major championship weeks, giving collectors a rare opportunity to own a part of PING’s storied putter history.

Castiglion del Bosco Heralds Tom Weiskopf’s Induction into World Golf Hall of Fame

Augusta National Golf Club to Host Road to the Masters Invitational on Sunday April 2

Augusta National Golf Club announced today that it will host Road to the Masters Invitational on Sunday, April 2, the eve of the first official practice round of the 87th Masters Tournament and following the conclusion of the Drive, Chip and Putt National Finals. Keswick Hall's Full Cry to Host 2023 U.S. Open Qualifier

Keswick Hall – the acclaimed 600-acre luxury resort set in Virginia’s scenic Wine Country – announces its celebrated Pete Dye-designed Full Cry golf course will serve as a 2023 U.S. Open qualifying venue on May 16.

Indian Wells Golf Resort Hosts Record-Breaking Stater Bros. Charities Heroes Challenge

Golf Simulators Gain Popularity in Residential and Commercial Spaces

Playing indoor golf is one of the hottest trends in the golf industry. Annika Sorenstam Leads National Drive to Support East Palestine

Annika Sorenstam, one of the most iconic and successful golfers of all-time, is taking a swing at helping the community of East Palestine, Ohio, which was affected by recent events. In partnership with the Youngstown Mahoning Valley United Way and The Way Station, Sorenstam is teeing up a national drive to help the community of East Palestine during their time of need.

With her husband, Mike McGee, a native of East Palestine and son of legendary PGA TOUR champion, Jerry McGee, and Ed Muransky, owner of The Muransky Companies, the three will be catalysts for an effort called, “Annika Fore East Palestine.”
