Brandt Snedeker played SteelFiber i95 graphite shafts in his irons, and the 2012 FedEx Cup champion shot 69 in three rounds, as well as a tournament low score of 60 for his T4 finish. Last year Snedeker even bested that score when he blazed a 59 at the Wyndham Championship.
Aerotech Golf President Chris Hilleary said,
"SteelFiber shafts continue to deliver consistent performance week after week on pro tours around the world. Unlike traditional steel as well as other graphite shafts, innovative SteelFiber technology provides unique performance-enhancing benefits such as reducing the risk of injury, lessening aggravation of existing injuries, and decreasing player fatigue, while simultaneously delivering greater distance and accuracy."
SteelFiber shafts provide superior performance through revolutionary composite engineering that combines a high-modulus graphite core with 59 miles of steel fiber lacing the shaft surface. The shaft's graphite core provides vibration dampening, increased clubhead speed and maximum distance, while the steel fibers produce optimum weighting for a solid feel at impact and add stability and control for pinpoint accuracy.
