The win was Rory's second of the season (to go along with The PLAYERS Championship), and the 16th of his career. And with the victory, he joined Arnold Palmer, Lee Trevino, and Tiger Woods as the only players since 1935 to win the U.S. Open, The Open Championship, and the Canadian Open.
McIlroy was pummeling drives at Hamilton Golf and Country Club (averaging nearly 330-yards off the tee, while finding almost 78-percent of the fairways). But Rory was also a master with his wedges and putter, clubs that have been a kind of nemesis for the former World No. 1 early in the season. Here are the clubs Rory used to pick up his 25th career international victory.
