Bag Boy 75th Anniversary Walk the Course Events at Independence Golf Club and Belmont

On May 22nd, Bag Boy hosted a “Walk the Course” event at Independence Golf Club in Midlothian, Virginia to celebrate its 75th anniversary and encourage golfers to explore the health benefits of walking the course.

The highly anticipated event was well received by the local golf community. All day, golfers who booked a tee time from 8:00 a.m. through 1:00 p.m. were eligible to enjoy a complimentary Nitron™ auto-open push cart when walking their round. There are many health benefits of walking over riding, which include improved circulation, stronger bones and muscles, and increased heart and memory health.

Throughout the day, golfers were invited to stop by the Bag Boy tent to learn more about the wide variety of Bag Boy products, as well as enter to win an assortment of prizes. Golfers were also given the opportunity to purchase various Bag Boy products, and a portion of the proceeds from these sales will be donated to the VCU Massey Cancer Center in Richmond, Virginia.

“We enjoyed seeing everyone testing out the Nitron auto-open push cart, and we look forward to our next Walk the Course event,” said Craig Ramsbottom, President of Bag Boy’s parent company, Dynamic Brands.

Bag Boy will be hosting its second Walk the Course event from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on June 5th at Belmont in Henrico, Virginia. A portion of the proceeds from this event will also be donated to the VCU Massey Cancer Center.
