Cobra Golf®, a leader in golf club innovation, has announced one of two new putter families under the KING umbrella. The KING Vintage Series of putters blends classic shapes with modern and innovative performance. The family includes four unique shapes: a blade (Sport-45 & Sport-60), mallet (Torino), fang (Nova & Nova-40) and an oversize mallet (Stingray & Stingray-40) with model names that are inspired by classic sports cars.
The putters feature a steel chassis, simple sightlines for alignment, and a black and turbo yellow color scheme. With multiple shapes, hosels, and an adjustable weighting system, the Vintage family has a variety of options for any style of putting stroke. Additionally, COBRA engineers worked with SIK Golf and Bryson DeChambeau to design improved roll in a soft yet crisp feeling aluminum face insert. Utilizing SIK’s patented Descending Loft Technology (DLT), which features four descending lofts on the face, to produce the most consistent roll trajectory for different putting strokes and angles of attack.
The KING Vintage Sport-45 ($249):
Features a traditional blade shape with a plumber neck hosel. A 45-degree toe hang is designed for players with a slight arc that desire a blend of stability and control. The construction consists of a 304 stainless steel chassis with single sightline for improved alignment. An aluminum face insert is designed with SIK’s DLT which utilizes four descending lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°) to ensure the most consistent and accurate roll trajectory for descending, neutral and ascending attack angles. The Sport-45 putter is equipped with two 20g sole weights that can be adjusted to +5g or -10g each to tune the overall head weight. The custom weights (10g, 15g, 20 and 25g) are sold separately through custom and on COBRA’s website. A lightweight polyurethane Lamkin Sinkfit CONNECT grip provides outstanding feel while an embedded sensor can be paired to the Arccos Caddie app so you can receive in-depth putting data. Available in right-and left-hand in 34” and 35” lengths (other lengths available in custom).
The second offering in the “Sport” blade shape is the KING Vintage Sport-60. The putter features a flow neck hosel design that creates a 60-degree toe hang that is suitable for players who have a stronger arc putting stroke. The Sport-60 putter is equipped with two 25g sole weights that can be adjusted up to -15g each to decrease the overall head weight up to -30g. Available in right-hand only in 34” and 35”.
The KING Vintage Torino ($249):
Features a mid-mallet shape with a single bend shaft that creates a face-balanced design that caters to players with a straight-back, straight-through stroke that also desire slightly more stability in a small mallet design. Like the blade models in the family, the Vintage Torino uses a 304 stainless steel chassis with triple sightlines for enhanced alignment at address. An aluminum face insert is designed with SIK Golf’s DLT which utilizes four descending lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°) to ensure the most consistent and accurate roll trajectory for descending, neutral and ascending attack angles. The Torino putter is equipped with two 10g sole weights that can be adjusted up to +15g each to increase the overall head weight up to +30g to dial in feel and stability. The custom weights (10g, 15g, 20g, 25g) are sold separately through custom and on COBRA’s website. A lightweight polyurethane Lamkin Sinkfit CONNECT grip provides outstanding feel while an embedded sensor can be paired to the Arccos Caddie app so you can receive in-depth putting data. Available in right and left-hand in 34”, and 35” lengths through stock (other lengths available in custom).
The KING Vintage Nova ($249) features the popular fang shape for enhanced stability and improved alignment and a single bend hosel for a face-balanced design suitable for players with a straight-back, straight-through stroke. The Vintage Nova chassis is constructed using 304 stainless steel and is equipped with a 6061 aluminum (aircraft grade) face insert featuring SIK’s DLT with four descending lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°). The Nova putter is configured with a lightweight polyurethane Lamkin Sinkfit CONNECT Smart Grip and a single 10g sole weight that can be adjusted up to +15g to increase the head weight up to +30g. Available in right and left-hand in 34”, and 35” lengths through stock (other lengths available in custom).
The second offering in the “Nova” fang shape is the KING Vintage Nova-40. The putter features a short slant hosel design that creates a 40-degree toe hang that is suitable for players who have a slight arc to their putting stroke. The Nova-40 is also equipped with the same 10g sole weight and adjustable range as the Nova. Available in right hand only in 34”, and 35” lengths (other lengths available in custom).
The KING Vintage Stingray ($249):
The oversize mallet putter utilizes a multi-material construction featuring a 304 stainless steel chassis on the perimeter and a unique plastic/carbon-fiber housing system that allows for a single adjustable weight. The result is the highest MOI shape in the Vintage family. The model is designed with a single bend hosel to create a face balanced design that is suited for players with a straight-back, straight-through stroke seeking maximum forgiveness and stability. The Vintage Stingray is also equipped with an aluminum face insert featuring SIK Golf’s DLT with four descending lofts (4°, 3°, 2°, 1°). The Stingray putter is configured with a lightweight polyurethane Lamkin Sinkfit CONNECT Smart Grip and a single 10g sole weight that adjusted up to +15g.
The second offering in the “Stingray” mallet shape is the KING Vintage Stingray-40. The putter features a short slant hosel design that creates a 40-degree toe hang that is suited for players who have a slight arc to their putting stroke. Both models are available in right and left-hand in 34” and 35” lengths through stock (other lengths available in custom).
Each putter in the KING Vintage Series is equipped with a COBRA CONNECT™ grip Powered by Arccos Caddie, the award-winning smart golf system that helps players of all skill levels make smarter, data-driven decisions.
