Thirteen U.S. Women's Open champions and 40 first time U.S. Women's Open competitors, ranging in age from 17 to 43 years old and representing 27 different countries descended upon the Lake Course at The Olympic Club on Monday for the 76th U.S. Women's Open.
This week will mark the 11th USGA Championship played at The Olympic Club, but the first time this prestigious club has hosted a U.S. Women's Open.
Monday was the first opportunity for many players to get a taste of the Lake Course and prep for the championship that begins Thursday. Here are some of the best pictures from Monday's practice rounds.
