Adidas Solarthon Golf Shoes Review: 2021 PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway DAY 1

If you enjoy the walk as much as you do the game, Adidas Primegreen Solarthon spikeless golf shoes will let you stride the fairways and greens with exceptional comfort, while delivering performance that stacks up to premium golf shoes on the market.

I won't go into all the details about Solarthon again here, but since three of you are each getting a brand new pair in DAY 1 of my PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway, I thought I'd touch again on some of the key features that make these one of the best walking shoes out there.

Solarthon absolutely flourish in comfort.   It's a serene walking experience that puts a spring in your step.  If you've worn other Adidas golf shoes with full-length BOOST cushioning you already know about the soft, spongey sensation.  There's almost a trainer-like feel to them.

The mesh textile upper is extremely lightweight for exceptional breathability.  There's also a compression like feel that gives them a good amount of stability without the pressure points you sometimes feel with leather shoes.  And an external heel TPU makes the back section of your foot particularly locked in, which is important for grip and stability in any swing.

Solarthon employs a fish scale Traxion outsole that reminds me a lot of the CodeChaos outsole.  The lug design and traction pattern is different, but Solarthon gives you a very similar suction like grip sensation for a slip free platform that performs from a variety of uneven lies or odd stances.

These shoes aren't waterproof so you don't want to grab your Solarthon when conditions are soaking or it's pouring rain.  But they are water resistant which means your feet will stay dry in soggy conditions or if you're caught in a drizzle or rain that doesn't last a long time.

Above all else Solarthon shines in the comfort department, and will give you one of the most satisfying walks imaginable.  And while spikeless shoes sometimes compromise stability and traction for comfort, Solarthon does a great job providing a solid base from which to swing.
