This morning Santa reminded me of something I did a few months back that was, well... let's call it confident in the face of almost certain disaster.

Tonight's the big night Pete.  How do you feel?  I'm nervous, always am.  It takes a lot to scare me but I love the sensation.  Thinking this morning about the Bridgestone Golf Tour B Cup back in September though, and not sure even I would have done what you did.

Listen, I know the new Bridgestone Tour B balls are even better than the last gen.  Hitting some this morning in the simulator just activating my glutes for tonight actually.  More spin, more distance, and consistent too.  But Pedro you let someone you never saw play golf before - hit a flop shot with the new Tour B directly over your head - from less than 6 feet away?!

That's either complete trust in the new Tour B ball or utter madness.  Probably a little of both.  Was expecting you'd take a rocket to the knees, maybe even the teeth.  And watching it live not gonna lie, I felt you were dangerously close to becoming one of those viral "Hold My Beer" fail videos.  I get it though, you're a peacock, we gotta let you fly.
