Tour Edge Exotics C721 Hybrid Review: 2021 PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway DAY 5

More and more of us are opting to play hybrids in our bags rather than long irons, and the new Tour Edge Exotics C721 hybrid is one of the best you'll ever hit.

And TWO (2) of you will win your very own C721 hybrid in my PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway.  You can choose any loft (2/17 degrees, 3/19 degrees, 4/22 degrees, or 5/24 degrees), shaft, flex, and even custom length and grip size you want.  You can see all the options here.

Like we do through the entire 12 Days, I'm going to share some of my impressions playing this club, and hit on things about C721 that really stood out to me.  And honestly there were a lot.  C721 is a phenomenal hybrid.

Above all else the Tour Edge C721 hybrid is all about higher and easier to hit shots.  Trajectory is high but flat, and you still get plenty of spin (even on mishits) to still hold greens.

And speaking of mishits, the C721 is particularly forgiving on misses low and out towards toe.  Knowing you're not going to be punished severely when you don't strike it perfectly makes this a go-to club for those long carries that can sometimes be intimidating to a lot of us.

Shots take off easy and want to stay on your target line, but C721 has a small enough head to still manipulate direction.  It's an unusual combination for a hybrid, C721 is both stable and workable.

C721 is also long, powerfully long really.  And you can feel that immediately at impact.  But the C721 isn’t a hybrid just about advancing the ball, it’s also about hitting to targets and making them stick.  Again an unusual combination for a hybrid, one that's both long and deadly accurate.

In terms of weight the Tour Edge C721 isn't a heavy hybrid, but it still glides through turf (no drag) and feels like you can blast it out of rough.  And shape wise C721 fits somewhere between a small fairway wood and driving iron, so it's pretty damn versatile.

Off the tee?  The C721 hybrid Long and forgiving.  From the fairway or rough?  It's nearly surgical.  You guys already know how much I loved the C721 driver and irons.  And I'm telling you straight up, this hybrid is the unsung hero of the Tour Edge 721 line.

Remember you always have three different ways to win the daily gifts in my giveaway this year.  On twitter just retweet my giveaway announcement and follow all; on Instagram repost, mention in your story, or like, and follow all; and here on my blog leave a comment in the section below in the daily review/giveaway/Letters from Santa articles.

These gifts are great prizes of course, but also some of the best equipment and gear in their class that I played and reviewed this season.  And I hope these mini reviews and recaps give you an idea of why I rate them so highly.

Merry Christmas all!

  1. Hey Pete, big Tour Edge fan here, and replacing my TEE CBX119 hybrid with a new C721 would be incredible! The CBX119 is a rocket launcher, but I could probably use the added forgiveness you found in the C721.

    Thanks for the opportunity, #ReleaseTheKringle!

    1. Kinda crazy a hybrid can be so versatile and do so many things so well and at same time really be a club a lot of players can use.

  4. Get rid of long irons and send it with ease with a hybrid. This club will definitely help you with that.

  13. Nice, to the point review about a great option instead of long irons. I'd really like to get into the hybrid realm but I can't find anything I like. Maybe this is the weapon I've been seeking.

  19. Never been a hybrid player but I need something to fill that 17-19* gap. What better way than to put in the best hybrid out there?

  20. Hybrids are tough for some people to settle on, even when they hit them better than their irons. Don't know why, but this was easy and comfortable from the first touch down on the turf. Really like this one a lot.

  21. i think i could get an eagle with this

  22. My old Sonartec hybrid still hits it well, but the ball flight is low bullets that won't hold a green. Would love to see this club's ball flight, higher with steeper angle of descent.
