This one is insanely awesome.  Not gonna lie, it's pure magic.  And for extra crazy?  I don't really know what exactly will be in this gift package from Santa!

The big man in red is a huge fan of Inverness Club and loves that Inverness is an anchor site for my Play With Pete Invitational.  And so one of you is going to win an amazing Inverness Club $500 Apparel and Accessories Golf Shop Gift Package!  I'll let Santa give you all the details in his latest letter.

Good Morning Peter Christmas,

I woke up feeling dangerous this morning.  Reminiscing about Christmases past has me all pumped up today, adrenaline flowing all kinds of Jingle BAM!  And that got me thinking about Inverness Club and your Play With Pete Invitationals.

You know every night on Christmas Eve when we're above the course I have the reindeer just settle a bit so I can gaze down and soak in all that Inverness Club glory.  Been doing it every year since the club opened in 1903.  Even have Inverness Club as the dedicated course always loaded up in my home simulator.  Pure architectural genius.  You could not have a better anchor site than this cathedral for Play With Pete.

So I was thinking how about we give someone an Inverness Club $500 Pro Shop Apparel and Accessories Gift Package?  The Head Pro and Merchandise Assistant at Inverness will hand pick some sweet merchandise from the Pro Shop.  We'd just need the winner's sizes, and the rest will be a Jingle BAM Christmas surprise.  Heck, even you won't know what's in the gift package.

Pretty sure I never told you this, but with the pedigree of major championship history at Inverness Club I've always wanted to play in a U.S. Open here.  Tried to qualify for the 1979 U.S. Open actually.  Went by the name Papa Noel, even shaved my beard to stay inconspicuous.  Was getting too many of those "where do I know you from," looks from players in Final Qualifying though and just got too risky.  Exaggerated a wild corkscrew recoil and had my believable back injury WD.

Next time Inverness Club hosts a U.S. Open though?  Let's just say Papa Noel is throwing caution to the wind!
