Letters from Santa GIVEAWAY 1 (PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway): Shot Scope V3 GPS Watch and Pro L1 Laser Rangefinder

So you guys already know this year's PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway is going to be bigger and wilder than ever.  Last year we had Santa Claus helping me out and recommending gifts to give you.  And happy to report the big man in red is back this year.

Santa and I have known each other a long time now, and he absolutely digs the 12 Days.  He had a great time following along and giving me suggestions on what to include last year.  And this year he's let me know to expect daily "Letters from Santa" to take all the fun up another level.  And Nick, I appreciate you being cool with me showing everyone your letters.

So below you'll find Santa's letter to me for the first Letters from Santa Giveaway in my PGAPappas 12 Days this year.  The gifts will be a ShotScope V3 GPS watch and Pro L1 Laser rangefinder.  Santa insisted both be included, and you'll read why below.

Just like with the daily gifts in my PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway, you'll have three unique ways to win the Letters from Santa giftsOn twitter just retweet my giveaway announcement and follow all; on Instagram like the post or Repost, and follow all; and here on my blog leave a comment in the section below in the daily review/giveaway/Letters from Santa articles.

These gifts are great prizes of course, but also some of the best equipment and gear in their class that I played and reviewed this season.  And I hope these mini reviews and recaps give you an idea of why I rate them so highly.

Merry Christmas all, and here's Santa's letter again below.  Yeah, I really do know him!

Merrrrrrrrry Christmas Pete and Happy Holidays!!!

If you guessed, yes I'm at Frosty's Tavern right now for Happy Hour, and yes I've had a tipple or two of the old eggnog brandy.  I am also known as the Man of Many after all, you know that.  But what I'm really excited about is something we've been able to do up here in the North Pole getting ready for Christmas Eve, and it's all thanks to your reviews of the Shot Scope V3 GPS Watch and Pro L1 Laser Rangefinder.

As you might imagine, we run into a lot of hazards up in the sky flying around the world in one night.  Different roof sizes, chimneys designs you'd have to see to believe, the electric wires, those obnoxious floating billboards.  We've had a few close calls with those giant Kim Kardashian billboards on Sunset Strip that still haunt me to this day.  And little known secret, Rudolph's red nose overheats from time to time.  He tells me it feels something like sun burn.  We have buckets of ice in the sleigh to cool him down as needed, but all these things can throw the proverbial candy cane into our best laid plans.

So your reviews got me thinking, as accurate and fast as the Pro L1 rangefinder and V3 watch are, why not figure out a way to use them for the big night delivering presents?  NASA agreed to let us use their fleet of satellites.  All I had to do was share some of my proprietary sleigh technology with them.  No biggy.  A group of our MIT alum elves then reprogrammed the watch and rangefinder for the particular hazards I just told you about.  And the first test run we had just a few days ago?  I set what had to be a Guinness book of world records new time for fastest trip around the world.

Mrs. Claus, bless her heart, also played a role by stitching the rangefinders together with earmuffs for all the reindeer.  It was a huge hit.  Prancer and Dancer in particular were so darn locked in.  And not gonna lie, I couldn't have been more proud of them.  I'm more of a watch guy myself.  Did I ever tell you I have a Masters Degree in Horology from the University of the Arctic?

So I was thinking, how about having a Shot Scope V3 GPS watch and Pro L1 Laser Rangefinder in your 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway this year?  Say two winners?  They can choose the watch or rangefinder, whatever they want.  I know this is the biggest 12 Days you've ever had, but this will make someone's Christmas, you can trust me.  Shot Scope is on a lot of wish list letters this year.

Catch up with you more tomorrow.  Heck maybe we can even sneak a round in together before Christmas.  Sound good?

Your pal,

Santa

  8. I can't think of a better way to kickoff the 12 Days of Christmas. Thank you again Pete for all that you do for the golf community.

I lost my range finder earlier this year. There's nothing better that I could find in my stocking than a Shot Scope Rangfinder or GPS watch.
