Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was proud to be the #1 driver and wood shaft at the U.S Women’s Open.
In an impressive field for the 77th U.S Women’s Open at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club, Fujikura claimed another top spot title with a massive 35.5% of the field choosing to play a Fujikura driver shaft, with another 30.3% of players using a Fujikura wood shaft. The eventual winner was part of this wood shaft count percentage, using a VENTUS Red 6-R in her 3-wood and VENTUS Blue 6-R in her 5-wood on her way to victory.
On the PGA Tour at the iconic Memorial Tournament, Fujikura once again claimed the #1 spot in driver, wood, and hybrid shafts. A total of 31.7% of the field used a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, with another 27.9% of the field using a Fujikura 3-wood shaft. In the hybrid category, Fujikura tied the #1 spot with 25% of the total field. The eventual winner trusted in VENTUS to capture his first win of the season, using the Fujikura VENTUS Black 6X in his driver. The 2nd place finisher also used VENTUS Black 6-X in his driver and fairway wood.
At the Porsche European Open on the DP World Tour, Fujikura made it back-to-back driver shaft wins with another VENTUS victory. The first-time DP World Tour winner claimed his title using the VENTUS Black 6X in his driver and the VENTUS Red 7X in his fairway wood.
