PUMA Golf Unveils Limited Edition Gator Capsule in Honor of 50th Anniversary of Sawgrass Championship

PUMA GOLF® released a limited-edition capsule in honor of annual Sawgrass Tournament, highlighted by the PHANTOMCAT NITRO™ GATOR golf shoe.

The limited-edition PHANTOMCAT NITRO™ GATOR, designed in homage to the great state of Florida and the alligators that populate it, features a timeless wingtip design complete with a striking navy, gold, and white color scheme.

The GATOR version of the PHANTOMCAT NITRO™ also features additional style cues such as a gold heel and sole that features a gold gator print. The insole of the shoe is finished with a stamp of the state of Florida in the heel.

The LE PHANTOMCAT NITRO™ is designed with NITROGEN INFUSED FOAM in the heel to provide improved rebound. In addition, a unique and innovative FLEXSPIKE design provides a new take on traction. Engineered to increase surface contact with the ground, the uniquely shaped, integrated cleats not only provide greater grip but also improve weight distribution. The unique shape of the new FLEXSPIKES also provides multiple traction elements for increased grip in a variety of conditions.  

Other features of the limited edition PHANTOMCAT NITRO™ GATOR include full grain leather uppers with a 1-year waterproof guarantee, a TPU outsole base with spined secondary traction elements, and a molded heel panel that locks the foot into place for improved control and stability.
