A now 9-time winner on the PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions won the 2024.
Cologuard Classic playing Exotics C723 fairway woods Sunday in Tucson.
The Cologuard champion shot rounds of 67-66-67 at La Paloma CC to secure the victory and to take home $330,000 in prize money.
The winner is currently playing an Exotics C723 15-degree 3-wood and an 18-degree Exotics C723 5-wood, both with Mitsubishi Diamana 70 S shafts.
C723 has now won multiple times on PGA TOUR Champions and C723 metals continue to be one of the most played fairway and hybrid models on the tour.
The Cologuard winner also won with Tour Edge in the bag when he won the 2018 Chubb Classic with an Exotics fairway and hybrid in play and the 2021 Ally Challenge with an Exotics C721 Driver. This is the player’s 5th career victory on PGA TOUR Champions.
Tour Edge staff player Alex Cejka also finished T5 this week playing a new Exotics prototype 3-wood, an Exotics C723 Hybrid and Exotics EXS Blade Wedges.
The win is the 28th win on the PGA Tours for a player with Tour Edge in the bag since 2018. Tour Edge products have now been in play for 39 victories on the PGA Tours, including 11 wins on the “big” PGA TOUR.
With six wins on PGA TOUR Champions in the last year, Tour Edge has now been in the bag for 27 victories on the PGA TOUR Champions since the company started working full-time with Champions tour players.
The company has experienced 4,820 clubs in tournament play by over 171 different PGA Tour professionals on the three PGA Tours since the start of the 2018 season. In that time, Tour Edge has earned 147 Top 5 finishes and 311 Top 10 finishes on the PGA tours.
With the victory this week, the brand has been on a meteoric rise with 27 victories and 40 runner-up finishes on PGA TOUR Champions since they started servicing the tour full-time.
That gives Exotics clubs 67 combined 1st place and runner-up finishes in the last 145 Champions events played (46% of all Champions events in that time span).
