3’s Expanding into Charlotte with the Purchase of Course in Indian Trail

3’s, the innovative new concept in golf entertainment that combines accessible Par-3 golf with cutting-edge hospitality, has purchased an existing par-3 course in Charlotte, North Carolina for its latest location. Pebble Creek Golf Course in Indian Trail will undergo extensive renovation, bringing the 3’s concept of fun, food and par-3 golf to one of the fastest-growing metro areas in the United States.

An opening of the new 3’s Charlotte location is planned for the latter half of 2025.

In 2022, 8AM Golfalong with partner Justin Timberlake, invested in 3’s with the intent of refining and replicating the popular and successful Greenville, South Carolina golf hospitality concept in major metro areas across the United States. The 3’s concept has proven incredibly successful since then, and the acquisition of the Charlotte-area Indian Trail course will serve as the next phase in 3’s expansion plan.

“The 3’s blueprint that we created in Greenville has proven to be everything we had hoped—it’s the perfect golf destination for a relaxed gathering of friends and family,” said Hoyt McGarity, president of 8AM Golf. “From the onset, we had an expansive vision for 3’s, and it’s great to see these efforts come to fruition with the plans we have for our second location in Charlotte.”

Like the original, 3’s Charlotte location will feature 12 par-3 holes under lights, as well as an inviting eatery known as the “Grubhouse” which offers delicious comfort food, drinks and merchandise. The casual and homey vibe will be enhanced by firepits, Adirondack chairs and music.

“Bringing 3’s to life in Greenville was incredibly gratifying because we were able to achieve our goal of creating a great spot for hanging out and enjoying golf in a casual, fun and affordable way,” said Davis Sezna, founder of 3’s. “We’re really excited about recreating that vibe in Charlotte, getting creative with the design and refining the offerings.”
