Major Domination and Multiple Wins on PGA Tour for Fujikura Golf in 2023

Fujikura, the leader in performance golf shafts, was honored to be the #1 driver, wood and hybrid shaft on the PGA Tour this season. With multiple tour wins throughout the season, along with the #1 driver shaft ranking at three out of the four Major championships, it’s been another successful year on the PGA Tour for Fujikura shafts.

At the final event of the PGA Tour season, it was further success for Fujikura with another Tour Championship victory. Once again, Fujikura secured the #1 driver and wood spot for the event, with a total of 40.0% of the field at East Lake Golf Club using a Fujikura driver shaft during the week, along with another 35.3% in the wood shaft count.

These tournament statistics also included the winner, who used a Fujikura driver and wood shaft combination during his FedEx Cup victory. Using the Speeder 661 TR in his driver and VENTUS Blue 7-X in his fairway wood, the back-to-back PGA Tour winner sealed his Tour Championship win with a stunning 63 (-7) on Sunday. The champion of the final event was #1 in strokes gained off the tee, as well as #1 in accuracy with 69.64% of fairways hit.

During the 2022/23 PGA Tour season, half of all the tournaments played have been won by a player using a Fujikura driver shaft. Out of 44 events, 22 winners chose Fujikura during this wraparound season. With multiple wins in five countries and 12 different States, Fujikura shafts have continued their previous season success with notable victories in many flagship events like The Open, The Players Championship, WGC Dell Technologies Match Play and Tour Championship.

Since the first event of the season in September 2022, there has been over 5,400+ uses of a Fujikura driver or wood shaft on the PGA Tour this season. Over the entire 2022/23 season, there have been over 4,400+ uses of VENTUS shafts on the PGA Tour, over 1,500 more uses than any other driver or wood shaft. Remaining the most popular driver and wood shaft on Tour for another season, earnings for players using VENTUS shafts were over $434,000,000, the largest total on the PGA Tour for any driver or wood shaft manufacturer. Throughout the season, VENTUS driver shafts were used 29.0% of the time, with VENTUS wood shafts 26.3% of the time.

As the season ends with another PGA Tour victory and back-to-back Tour Championship titles, the world’s best players continue to trust in Fujikura shafts. Heading into next season, six of the current World Top-10 ranked players continue to use a Fujikura driver or wood shaft, including the Top-2 ranked players in the world who both use all VENTUS shafts in their driver and fairway woods.
