Evnroll V-Series Putter Review: 2022 PGAPappas 12 Days of Christmas Golf Giveaway DAY 5

I've tested and played three different Evnroll V-Series milled putters over the past year.  And with each putter my immediate impressions were exactly the same.  I can see V-Series as the kind of putters someone uses just one time and then doesn't even consider trying anything else afterwards.  They're really that good.

The ER2v wide flange mallet, ER5v winged mallet, and ER11vx full-size mallet are all extremely forgiving across the entire face, deliver a deliciously soft click at impact, and are responsive with consistency of results even when your putts are not perfect.  And one of you will be able to choose any of the six different putters in the V-Series line.  You can choose any putter, any length, and any of six different hosels (more on this in a bit) and see all the putters here.

I already told you all about these three V-Series putters on twitter and Instagram, but I'm going to touch on some features common to each of these putters that really make your putts just purrr to the hole.

 

Putter feel is obviously subjective but in my opinion the feel of Evnroll V-Series putters is absolutely superb.  Face technology is the big headliner with these putters (and justifiably so), but I was just as impressed with the Evnroll feel as I was with overall performance.  It's soft enough for delicate, short putts, and yet firm enough for for distance control and feedback.  Really good stuff.

 

Evnroll face technology is called Sweet Face Technology.  And basically the face has a series of variable width grooves that narrow out towards the toe and heel. Evnroll says this creates a sweet face as opposed to simply a sweet spot by increasing  contact surface and energy transfer on putts away from center.  You can read more about the technology (including robot test video results) here on Evenroll's site.  But I can tell you from my own experience it's legit.

 

On putts from all distances mishits towards the toe and (particularly) heel have almost identical distance and roll as center strikes.  I kid you not.  Most putters just don't give you this kind of consistency and stability when your putts are not perfect.  And this translates to fantastic distance and speed control.  I can promise you there are golfers out there who will tell you V-Series putters are the best they've ever put in their hands.

 

As mentioned above you have seven different head designs in the Evnroll V-Series line, so you're sure to find one that pleases your eyes.  And different putter head models of course promotes or fits different kinds of strokes.  For example a mallet style putter like my ER11vx is generally good if you prefer a straight-back and straight-through motion.  My ER2v putter on the other hand is a wider mid-blade that's more stable than a traditional blade but still allows for an arced stroke.

 

But Evnroll takes your distinctive taste and putting stroke even further by offering six different hosel options, and honestly this makes all the sense in the world.  Evnroll does a great job distinguishing between the hosels and clearly explains the benefits of each here on their website, and I'd encourage you to check it out.  The gist is you can now match both an ideal head and hosel visual set-up that will also fit the swing path you naturally prefer.  This means you're going to have a higher likelihood of making more putts.  And that's really what Evnroll V-Series putters are all about.
